Top 5 wanted Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron ships from the original trilogy vol 2

Jazwares' Micro Galaxy Squadron has been firing on all cylinders and giving us some incredible representations of vehicles across the Star Wars franchise! It has easily become one of my favorite toylines to date, and their presence at Star Wars Celebration floored me with some absolutely incredible reveals! Long time original trilogy wants for the line have been checked off like the Y-Wing bomber, the Snowspeeder, Luke's Landspeeder, as well as an epic looking AT-AT! Not to mention so many other ships from the original trilogy like the Tie Interceptor and Bomber, so the list of ships left to do from those original three iconic films is dwindling; however, there's still a few more to go through so with the future of the line looking bright here is my volume 2 of most wanted ships from the Star Wars original trilogy!

5. Live creatures

Coming in the last slot simply because I'm not sure if the line would do them: the live creature "vehicles" that we see throughout the original trilogy! I think that Jazwares could really produce some awesome versions of such beasts like the Bantha, Dewback, and Tauntaun with the sculpting and paint they've applied to release in the line already! Like I mentioned though, I'm unsure if animals like these qualify enough as "vehicles" in order to be included in the line.

4. Hoth rebel troop cart

An easy slot to stick in a blind box, the Hoth rebel troop cart was seen around the Hoth base trafficking troops across the hangar floors. It is not the most exciting vehicle from the series; however, would make for a really nice filler piece in any Hoth display and could used to give us Hoth mini figures of Leia, Han, or a Hoth rebel!

3. Tie Shuttle

Seen very, very briefly during Empire Strikes Back is a Tie variant with little to no history in the Star Wars franchise; however, I think it would still be really cool to see in the line. They've done plenty of obscure and surprising vehicles up to this point, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see the Tie Bomber at some point repurposed into this transport shuttle! Very similar in design it is to the Bomber, though used the second pod usually spaced for missiles and allows for further passenger seating.

2. Sandcrawler

In a recent Jazwares interview they mentioned the possibility of bringing the Sandcrawler into the line at some point which would be a really exciting addition to the Galaxy Squadron! The Jawa Sandcrawler has always been one of my favorite designs from the original trilogy, and just thinking about the potential inner sculpting and details that could be applied to this vehicle has me envisioning a huge inner playset area to pose figures within! The overall size of the vehicle may end up being underscaled for budgeting, but it'll make it no less awesome if introduced to the toyline!

1. Jabba's Sail Barge

Just like the AT-AT, Jabba's Sail Barge would be a huge addition to the line and one of the centerpieces that I would be most excited about! Jabba's Palace sequence has always been one of my favorite parts of the original trilogy, and the entire Sail Barge sequence still clears for one of my top Star Wars scenes of all time! The Vintage Collection did a spectacular job bringing this vehicle to life in action figure form, and I'd be really excited to see Jazwares put their spin on it as well with all the inner detailing possible, and the inclusion of a Jabba mini figure! Series 5 is bringing us a Desert Skiff, and this year is celebrating the anniversary of Return of the Jedi, so hopefully before the year is out we'll be setting up a "Battle at Carkoon" display!
