Top 5 wanted Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Separatist droid ships

One of my favorite designed factions from the Star Wars universe is certainly the Separatist armada from the Star Wars prequel trilogy! The droid army and every vehicle in their arsenal have some great designs that make them some of the most fun and unique ships in the Star Wars universe! We've dipped our toes into the Confederacy garage but I'm hoping Jazwares' Micro Galaxy Squadron toyline will dive headlong into this side of the galaxy, especially with how many Republic Clone and Jedi ships we've gotten so far!

5. Vulture Droid

We've seen this design appear in the cardstock art of so many releases at this point, and typically it seems that once a ship design it used for cardstock artwork on the packaging it is either out in the line or coming out in the next wave or 2. So I'm expecting the Vulture Droid to come out soon in either waves 4 or 5, and I'm really excited for when it does to have droid starships to go up against the several Jedi starfighters we've gotten at this point! I'm especially interested to see if it will include the ability to maneuver into its "walking" configuration.

4. Tri-Fighter

Another droid starship I'd love to see in the line would be the Tri-Fighter, a ship with three curved half-rings encircling the main "cockpit" of the design. It's mosquito-like "face" design is a really fun point about the figure as well, and including Buzz droids as the mini figures for this one would interact well with other prequel era ships we've already gotten in the line.

3. N99 Tank

Working treads on this droid vehicle would be awesome as it envelopes the entirety of the ship's hull! I remember utilizing this vehicle all the time in the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 videogame on Kashyyyk and racing through the sands and water. Even if the treads are static on a potential figure in this line for this design, it would still be a great addition to the Separatist war arsenal that we've started with the STAP and AAT!

2. MTT Tank

This one has some of the most potential for an excitedly fun amount of play features. In the movie it was seen hauling loads of Battle Droids, and if a potential figure can carry out the same play features it could be a ton of fun! I know the mini figures we get wouldn't have the capability of condensing down like the droids in the movie did, so either accommodating the current style of mini figures, or including unique condensed sculpts seems to be the way to go.

1. Hailfire

Boasting two humongous chain wheels, the Hailfire droid is one that I had a figure of back when the Clone Wars tv show was airing and it became one of my all-time favorite droid designs from the prequels! I love the wheels of course, the hefty missile launcher pods situated on the cockpit itself, and the way it all pops apart when it explodes. Getting an updated version of this vehicle through the Micro Galaxy Squadron toyline would be a great love letter to my childhood and all the time I pulled the Hailfire toy apart!
