Top 5 most wanted DC Multiverse DC vs Vampires figures
When Mcfarlane first starting revealing DC vs Vampires exclusive figures for Walmart I was initially on the fence. I was thinking to myself that I would've preferred a classic Red Rain Vampire Batman over one inspired by a cover art for a comic where Batman is never actually a vampire. Then we got Vampire Joker, also inspired by cover art, followed by an awesome looking Vampire Superman and Vampire Hal Jordan, and I'm fully on board with this subset at this point. The headsculpts for each are fantastic, and when all put together it is a epic looking set of DC vampires! While I lost interest in the series itself after the time skip at issue 7, the cover arts continued to depict creepy looking vampire versions of DC's heroes and villains, and these are my top most wanted pics for the next DC vs Vampires Mcfarlane figures!
Honorable mention: Batwoman
Just barely inched out of the top 5 is Batwoman, whose alternate cover artwork depicts her with a set of demonic horns and blood splattered across her lips. It would not be as drastic of a vampire inspired headsculpt as many of the ones we've gotten so far, but it would still be a very cool look for a figure and get the Batwoman mold out there again for fans who don't want to have to buy rereleases of Clayface and Rebirth Batman.
5. Damian Wayne
This is one that would actually fit with the story inside the series as Robin was a vampire; however, he retained his humanity and fought back against the vampire hoard. Whether they go with a vampire version of Robin to match the gnarly headsculpts of those released already, or produce a figure based on this cover art where his red and black uniform (which exists in the Mcfarlane line already) is more armored up for vampire hunting, both would go well with the display we've amassed already.4. Two Face
I don't recall Harvey ever appearing in the comic series itself, but this awesomeness of this cover art speaks for itself. Two-Face already has such a gnarly appearance, but add to that vampire features and suddenly the horrific visage becomes much more wild! We've yet to get a standard Two-Face in the line whose mold could be easily re-used for this release, but we've got the suited mold from the numerous Jokers over the years which could easily work.3. Wonder Woman
While not officially solicited quite yet Mcfarlane did reveal a standard Wonder Woman figure coming to the line that isn't based on any alternate designs or continuities. That figure could easily be used as a base to give us either of these vampire cover art variants for the leading lady of DC's trinity! The image on the left is a much more muted vampire design which I could see Mcfarlane adapting; however, the one of the right is downright horrifying and if adapted to figure form would become my favorite of the vampires subset!2. Nightwing
While vampire Nightwing in the comic series had has own entire design separate from what's depicted in the cover art, the cover arts are what Mcfarlane has been using to adapt the DC vs Vampires figures into the line, and this artwork of Nightwing would kill it as an action figure! The ghoulish headsculpt with the bat-like nose and ears, and especially the bat wings replacing his arms!! It would be a lot of remolding, but definitely worth it!1. Plastic Man
Just like with Two-Face, we don't have a standard figure of Plastic Man in the line quite yet to be a basis for a vampire Plastic Man, but holy heck I would buy this in an instant if Mcfarlane were to reveal this today! Making full use of his shapeshifting ability, this alternate cover art of Plastic Man is easy nightmare fuel with the haunting maw of teeth, the duplications of arms, and the long, sharpened finger nails! If the DC vs Vampires line ever becomes more than just repaints and headswaps, this figure could easily be one of the line's best!
