Top 5 most likely Transformers Studio Series figures for 2026
With SDCC dealing out the latest in news about the future of the Studio Series Transformers toyline by Hasbro things are looking more daring than ever! Product spanning out into 2026 has been granted to us, and what a host of reveals it was! A brand new G1 Seeker mold that is already confirmed to be used for both Skywarp and Starscream in the future. The TLK Nemesis Prime retool/repaint we were promised, as well as TLK Barricade and 86' Windcharger! The big talking point is no doubt the line's first ever Titan Class figure, one that rectifies a scale issue from the very start of the line and upgrades AOE Grimlock to the gargantuan size that fits his appearance in the film! I'm sure 2026 still has a myriad of amazing product we haven't seen yet, and in this post I'll break down my top guesses for what will be coming!
5. 86' Astrotrain
With the Hasbro team stating their intention to finish out the 86' subline by 2026 it has me thinking we will finally see Astrotrain updated to more modern standards over the OK War for Cybertron trilogy release we previously got. I would absolutely love for him to get the Commander Class pricepoint to make him a big guy befitting his transportation sequences in the film; though I'd also settle for a completely new sculpt in the leader class price point similar to what we've seen with Thundercracker.4. 86' dead Windcharger
With Windcharger officially receiving a brand new figure, I am having flashbacks to the dead Autobots two packs we got to recreate those horrifying scenes from the movie. Windcharger's new mold could easily be given a resculpted chest plate, along with Wheeljack being given slight retooling, and we've got yet another Autobot deaths two pack that Target can traumatize us with!3. TFO Soundwave
Airachnid and Alpha Trion made their phyiscal colored prototype debuts at the show after being previously shown off as gray models, and they both look astounding. I expect that Transformers: One will continue to see life in the Studio Series line even if there is no sequel in development, and Soundwave is a biggie that is missing from the line up. Starscream was a fantastic start to the High Guard and everyone loves a good Soundwave design/figure.2. TFO Seekers
Speaking of the Transformers: One Starscream that we recently got, the floodgates are all but open for us to start receiving another swath of Seeker repaints. However, the highlight about this set of Seekers is that they aren't just repaints! Every single one has a unique cockpit and set of wings that really makes them their own individual characters which I really like! And the Hasbro team has made a point to single out the fact they engineered Starscream's chest and wings to be easily retooled, so expect both Thundercracker and Skywarp in short order, followed by whoever comes next!1. AOE Bumblebee
The recently released Bumblebee movie VW Bee redo went over very well with fans, and I'd like to call to attention a Bumblebee design that has made no meaningful presentation throughout the whole of the Studio Series line to this point! With AOE and TLK seemingly getting a bit more love as of late I would be very content to finally check this design off the list, even if it isn't my favorite look for the yellow bot. He would fit very well with the recent Optimus, and pair along nicely with his rival Stinger who we received over half a decade ago at this point!!
