Top 5 most wanted Pokemon video games
After playing through Lets Go on the Switch, Sword and Shield were the first true Pokemon games to come out on the Swith and I really enjoyed playing through the whole time! The graphics took a definite upgrade, and I really loved the Wilds which is the closest we have had to an open world Pokemon game. I'm very excited for what this larger, more powerful console engine can do for the Pokemon world now that they've done a bit of experimentation, and with the Pokemon Direct event coming up, here are the top 5 Pokemon games I'd like to see in the future!

5. Generation 9
This is a simple one, and I know there that we just got a new generation but I really love seeing what new Pokemon, characters, and regions are introduced with each new installment to the over all game. Of course, I would like a little bit of a break before the next generation, but I'm excited for when generation nine comes to our hands and what new Pokemon will come with it!

4. Prehisotric times
This is probably the least likely to happen, and may never happen, but I have always wished to have a Pokemon game set during the prehistoric times when all of the fossil Pokemon were alive and thriving! Imagine a Pokemon game set with Pokemon like Aerodactyl, Lileep, and other fossil Pokemon that are extinct in the present day roaming around the region like normal. The timeline could offer a new way of playing as well, such as taming Pokemon rather than capturing them in balls. It could be a very fun spinoff it not a main game, and I hope that one day it happens.

3. Another RPG
I've always been a huge fan of some of the spinoff games that come out between the main games, primarily the RPG games like XD: Gale of Darkness and the Pokemon Rangers games. Games that aren't the classic Pokemon style, while exploring more of the world without introducing many new Pokemon. With a new generation just having come out, I would be comfortable with another RPG to pass the time between generations and possibly even explore more of the Galar region.

2. Diamond and Pearl remake
This is one that I know a lot of People want and I think it could be pretty likely to occur soon. Nothing new has been received on the Diamond and Pearl front since the original games came out, so the Sinnoh region hasn't been explored much in any follow ups or direct sequels, nor remakes like a lot of the other regions have already gotten. I think it is due time for the Sinnoh region to be revisited in this new, awesome 3D format the Switch can provide.

1. More Let's Go
What really brought me back into the Pokemon games was the release of Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, not because it was Kanto or the original generation 1, but because it was a totally new type of Pokemon while still being something we recognized. I loved the fact that now Pokemon could be seen on the overworld, that your Pokemon followed you around, that the new 3D Switch graphics looked amazing, and little things like a shared team XP after battles made the game fun and not a grind. I loved the experience, and I'm so excited for the other regions to hopefully get Let's Go versions eventually! Johto would obviously come next, and has even been talked about, but most of all I want to revisit the Hoenn region in the Let's Go style!
