Top 5 most anticipated 2025 Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts

Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts line has had an epic 2024 with lots of great reveals and releases amongst existing lines and new lines; but beyond that we have had plenty of reveals for the future throughout 2025 as well. There is so much to be excited for that I am thrilled to see in the pipeline, and before I put out a list counting down my favorite Figuarts of 2024 I'm looking ahead to my top anticipated S.H.Figuarts figures of 2025!




Honorable mentions: Voldemort and Harry Potter

I recently posted about my excitement at seeing the return of the Harry Potter line and my hope to see it continue. Both Voldemort and Harry look like fantastic releases to revive the line, and Voldemort's soft goods in particular I can't wait to see in-hand!




5. Demon Slayer

Since the initial three announcements for the Demon Slayer line I feel like there has been scarce news up until recently when we had the dual reveals of Rengoku and Akaza. I'm excited for the line to continue as Tanjiro in particular is one of the most posable figures of this year, and both upcoming characters are fan favorites. 



4. My Hero Academia


I've been very happy with Revoltech's My Hero Academia line of figures but seeing My Hero Academia jump into the game for this fantastic series had me excited to have two different lines covering the characters and Tamashii Nations' line looks outstanding thus far! They've been focusing on season 7 which differentiates it from the Revoltech line and we already have an accessory pack and the fourth and fifth figures teased for the future. It seems as though they line will have legs, and I couldn't be more excited to get it started. 



3. Berserk

The Berserk line based on the hit manga series continues to be one of my favorite lines to follow and it looks to be continuing full throttle into 2025 with a jump back into the iconic Golden Age storyline. Casca is joining the line for the first time after long fan requests, and another version of Guts is also welcome. Not only those two though as we are also going to see Isidro to fill out the modern day crew, as well as Nosferatu Zodd which looks like a beast of a figure and shocked me when he was first revealed last year! 



2. One Piece

If there is any line popping off more than ever at S.H.Figuarts right now it is the One Piece line. It was revived and had a few hiccups at the start but the line is revving forward with a new reveal each time I turn around it feels. Ace looks to be one of the greatest Figuarts releases of all time, and the East Blue depictions of Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp similarly look very impressive, classic, and it will be wonderful to complete the original iteration of that original quartet. 



1. Naruto

Naruto was a major part of my childhood so I will always be a bit biased towards this series; however, even without nostalgia it is an incredible series and I've been reading the manga lately to reexperience the saga which reaffirms how good it is.  2025 looks to be a rocking year for Naruto so far with lots of supporting characters finally getting their due, the epic villain Pain debuting as the next release, as well as a whole playset in the Ichiraku set! Hinata was the latest reveal in the line without warning, and I cannot wait to see what else 2025 will have for me when it comes to my favorite anime of all time!

NECA gave us a huge surprise this year with the reveal of a full range of action figures for the Back to the Future franchise! This is definitely one of the most popular franchises out there and I didn't know that I needed action figures for it until now! Top 5 most wanted Star Wars the Black Series aliens from The Phantom Menace

The prequel love is very strong recently in Star Wars the Black Series, the line of 6 inch collection figures covering the Star Wars franchise. It felt like, as a prequel fan, that I was gasping for prequel figures in the collection not only a year ago but now we've had a flood of them, with another flood quickly coming! It's gotten me more excited for the line than I've been in a long time, and I've been thinking about some choice prequel characters I'd like to see! Aliens are getting a bit of a resurgence in the line as well, with prequel Jedi, Moloch, Rio, and a few others, so what better list to make than my most wanted aliens from the prequels? Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic Badniks vol 2

(Images Source) We have been getting more and more robotic Badniks in Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic figures which is very exciting! Primary characters are great, but getting more of the background designs to fill out the scenes is awesome and we've recently got some Badniks I was eagerly waiting for like the Burrobot, Newtron, and most recently the Caterkiller!! Eggman's army is packed to the brim though with all kinds of robotic enemies, and these are five more I hope to eventually see! 5. Jaws The Chopper is not the most posable of the Badniks that we've gotten so far (not that many are very posable to begin with), but it is such a classic design from the series and another underwater enemy would be the Jaws. With Jakks Pacific steadily working through giving us little playsets themed around different levels, a set themed around the underwater sequences would be the perfect way to get this guy into the line. 4.
