5 More Great Figures from 2025
There are a few figure releases from 2025 that don't necessarily fit in to any of the lists I talked about before and are from toylines that don't necessitate their own ranking list. I still wanted to talk about them regardless as some of these figures would be amongst my overall top figures of the whole year, and some of the companies they hail from are ones I'll definitely be looking into more throughout 2026 and hope to see more of in general! In no particular order of ranking, here are five more absolutely fantastic figures from 2025 that I had to get mentioned!
Blokees engineering improvements
Something I jumped into this year was Blokees Galaxy line of Transformers model kits. Extremely fun little sets that make it affordable and easy to build out a G1 display fast, as well as a Transformers: One display, Shattered Glass display, and it seems like the future is only going to open up more of the Transformers franchise to this excellent series. With the recent waves engineering has skyrocketed with improvements in sculpt, paint, and ESPECIALLY articulation (double jointed knees, double ball socket necks, ab crunch!) that make me ever more excited to build out the Transformers cast.Armada Red Alert
With so much of the Bayverse done from Studio Series, my Transformers collecting as really slowed down. The G1 Devastator was a grail, Que and Hatchet were both welcomes additions to the shelf but not very amazing as figures, and Skye-Bite is a pinnacle of mainline Japanese Transformers figures. The one that really stood out to me though from my Transformers pick ups was Armada Red Alert, another figure from my favorite Transformers Franchise, and undoubtedly a solid release with solid engineering, abundant articulation, and a very screen accurate look. Sideways is already looking to start 2026 off hot as another great Armada release, following 2025's fantastic Red Alert!
Marvel Legends Gamerverse Venom (Spiderman 2)
It rarely feels like we get MCU figures these days aside from what's currently releasing (still hoping to get an Abomination from The Incredible Hulk one day), so my Marvel Legends collecting is scant, but as soon as I saw the Venom from Spider-Man 2 (the videogame) revealed I knew I had to get it. He is huge, his joints move like butter (but still secure), and he just feels like a solid figure!Jada Toys Sagat
2025 also became the year of my Jada Toys awakening. I'd seen their Street Fighter line from afar, but finally jumped into it and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long because these are some incredibly fun and well done figures! Sagat especially is my favorite of the bunch, with an impressive shelf presence, great articulation for a character his size, and is just one of those figures I found hard to put down after I got it.Jada Toys Scooby Doo
One of the things that really got me looking at Jada Toys was the reveal of their Scooby Doo license, and the first wave released to excited cheers from myself. This line from just the first three figures is incredible, breathing the franchise of Scooby Doo literally to life with three great figures that pose great, look great, and the accessories are perfect! (whoever decided the ghosts get unmasking heads should get a raise!). Waves 2 and 3 look even better than the first, but Shaggy, Creeper, and Mummy all set a high bar!
