Top 5 omissions in Hasbro's Star Wars the Black Series vol 2
While the Black Series line of Star Wars figures have made great strides in filling out some of their biggest holes in the collection, with such an expansive universe there are always going to be major characters and designs that are eagerly awaited by fans and with many of my previously listed biggest omissions finally being fulfilled, such as Dooku, Ewoks, and Bodhi Rook, I'm back around with a new assortment of characters I think are long overdue for the figure treatment. So here are the top 5 figures at this time that I think are the line's biggest omissions!

In no time at all we've had all the members of the original Bad Batch team revealed in figure form for the Black Series line, and beyond that several other characters from the new show have been revealed as well, with the team's newest member, Omega, revealed as a pipeline reveal for 2022! The character now missing from every fan's Bad Batch set up now is Echo, one of the principle team members and someone sorely needed now to round out a fantastic group of characters.
There's been few appearances in Star Wars media recently that I remember being as hyped as some of the guest characters who showed up during Mandalorian's sophomore season. While some of those characters like Bo Katan, and the recently revealed plans for Boba Fett, have been made a reality in the Black Series line the fantastic depiction of live action Ahsoka has gone unannounced as of yet.
The prequels have been getting a lot more of the focus they deserve from the past couple of years when it comes to representation in the line, but the Separatist army is one faction of army builders we're still lacking sorely in. Super battle droids are one of the figures I'm hoping to see most in the line, and their bulky designs made a recent appearance in Mandalorian season 1 making them relevant again. Droideka's as well are some of the most iconic droid designs in the Star Wars franchise, with both of these designs needed to fight the plenty of prequel era Clone troopers we've gotten.
While Hasbro may have revealed that we will be getting the nomad version of Mandalorian's Boba Fett sometime in the future, the re-armored version of the character is one that remains at the top of many fans' most wanted lists, I'm sure. Just like Ahsoka, the fanfare for Boba Fett's tremendous return to the Star Wars universe was one of the most exciting things to happen in recent Star Wars media! With a new show coming out revolving around this character, an older Boba Fett wearing his iconic armor is a figure that will hopefully become a reality before too much longer.
We finally got Bodhi Rook into the Black Series connection, a long time want of mine and one many needed to put together the core Rogue One crew. There's another major Rogue One character still absent from the line though, and one that has gone on to become a staple of the Star Wars universe as a whole! Saw Gerrera was a stand out character in Rogue One itself, but he has gone on to appear in so many other Star Wars projects ranging from Jedi: Fallen Order, Rebels, and most recently the Bad Batch! His footprint on the Star Wars universe is ever growing, as is the necessity of this character finally being introduced into the Black Series line!
