Top 5 most wanted updated Transformers the Movie (1986) figures vol 3

The original 1986 Transformers movie remains as one of the most well known and popular piece of Transformers media, and Hasbro is continuing to celebrate this piece of Transformers media within their toylines as more and more classic characters from this film finally get updated figures that in some cases are literally masterpiece level. From my previous list talking about my most wanted figures from this movie, either from Kingdom or Studio Series we now have Galvatron, a Sharkticon, Wreck Gar, and another of the amazing leader scaled Dinobots! I don't expect the G1 figures to stop, ever, and with Hasbro on a role with updating nearly the entire cast of the original movie this is my updated wishlist of most wanted new figures from the film!

5. Coronation Starscream
This would be the easiest figure on the list to make and I'm surprised that it hasn't been done yet, especially with it being one of the most iconic looks and moments from the original movie. Starscream's donning of a cape and a crown as he takes authority of the Decepticons is by far one of the most notable moment's in the character's history, and supplying these accessories for the Earthrise voyager class Starscream would easily achieve this awesome look.

4. Blaster
Ever since Soundwave was reintroduced to the line in Siege, and later again in Earthrise, fans have been waiting for his rival Blaster to be redone in the line as well. This energetic, charismatic music lover was a great addition during the season 2 era of G1 Transformers, and got some stand out moments during the opening scenes of the original movie. His cassettes battling Soundwave's are a scene no fan can forget, and I hope that whenever he gets a new figure his cassettes follow suit.

3. Perceptor
Going along with Blaster is Perceptor who shared a lot of those iconic scenes from the Battle of Autobot city. Beyond that though, Perceptor got to tag along with Magnus and the others as they retreated across the galaxy, taking part in the skirmish on the Junk planet, and the final excursion against Unicron! He was one of the first characters we see at the Battle of Autobot city, scouting out the incoming Decepticons, which is a scene I absolutely loved as a kid.

2. Bliztwing
To be honest, I was surprised that after we got Astrotrain at the end of Siege we didn't immediately get Blitzwing to follow! Blitzwing is easily one of the most popular triple changing characters, and one a lot of fans love! His moment's in the film were short, but growing up I always loved his death chatter, "Come on down, Autobrat!" and how Kup curves his tank barrel to blast an Insecticon instead! It has always been one of my favorite moments from the movie's opening battle, and with Kup and Hot Rod both in the line already I hope to soon finally add an updated Blitzwing as well.

1. Sludge, Swoop, Snarl

Grimlock alone looked miraculous when he was released in the first wave of Studio Series 1986 figures, and now Slug is following suit with an equally exquisite new rendering of the G1 Dinobots! There is no other word to describe these figures other than perfect, and the leader class scaling is exactly where the Dinobots should be! I can only picture of good Sludge, Swoop, and Snarl will look, and with two of the Dinobots made already Hasbro have to be committed to rounding out the rest of the team!
