Top 5 most wanted Studio Series Bumblebee figures vol 2

Bumblebee continues to be one of the big stars of the Studio Series line of movie based Transformers figures from Hasbro. Since I posted my first article discussing the Bumblebee figures I would like to see most in the line, we've now gotten 3 out of 5 of those choices with the Modern camaro Bee getting two figures, based on both the 2007 and ROTF movies, and Bumblebee in both his jeep and Cybertronian alternate modes from the Bumblebee movie. While the focus of the line right now seems to be heavy G1 inspired, I have no doubt that live action figures will continue to be a presence as well and this is my updated list of my most wanted Bumblebees in Hasbro's Studio Series.

5. More accurate VW form
Technically we've already gotten Bumblebee in his primary VW bug mode from the Bumblebee movie; however, that figure is based on some early concept art leading to the figure not exactly being as accurate to the film as it could be. Namely, the door wings on the back should not be present at all. While Studio Series hasn't shown precedence for redoing designs they've already pumped out, I hope that this Bee does get a redo now that the movie has been out for a while.

4. Age of Extinction
His primary look from AOE is one of the most significant looks for Bumblebee in the movies that hasn't yet been accomplished in figure form. With it, he became much more slick and streamlined than he had been before. With Stinger being in the line from wave 1, and so many AOE villains being pushed out as well, this version of Bee would go perfectly into the display.

3. Dark of the Moon
With the 2007 modern Camaro Bumblebee being retooled pretty awesomely into the Revenge of the Fallen design, it makes me now hope that we see his third movie appearance pop up in the line as well! This time around Bumblebee's chest had gotten another bit of a redesign to make him look even cleaner, and if they wanted to pack in another character of some kind there is plenty of heroes to choose from, or the miniature pink Bumblebee form Laserbeak took on would be fun!

2. Bumblebee movie ending scene
While the clanker Camaro known from the original 2007 movie became Bee's alternate mode at the end of the Bumblebee movie, his robot mode bared little resemblance to that 2007 design. He still retained his rounder, stockier frame albeit now with the Camaro kibble replacing his VW portions. We didn't see this form get a whole lot to do, but we will surely get to see more of it in the sequel and it is a cool blend of this newer movie's design with the 2007 interpretation.

1. Age of Extinction disguised mode
I've come to appreciate this design a lot more in recent years and I'm really hoping to see it soon in the Studio Series line! Not only is his car mode really cool, with a heavier influence of the black colors offering such a new color pallet for the character, but his robot mode looks awesome as well. I can see it being an easy retool of the existing Camaro mode figures that already exist, but one way or another I hope we soon get this short lived design in figure form once again.
