Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse Superman villains vol 2

Superman's rogues gallery has enjoyed quite the representation in Mcfarlane's line of action figures, especially last year for Big Blue's anniversary. More obscure villains like Atomic Skull got into the lime light, and throughout the line's run we've gotten iconic villains like Lex Luthor, Doomsday, General Zod, and a couple Brainiacs into the set up. The world's first superhero still has plenty of antagonists who haven't been checked off my Mcfarlane so far, and these would be my next top 5 most wanted!

5. Manchester Black

With some epic storylines such as Ending Battle and Black Dawn, Manchester Black has been a formidable villain to the Man of Steel over the years, with telepathic powers that completely negate the physical prowess of Superman's specialty. The British flag on his shirt (or chest in the case of the New 52) is the most iconic feature of the character's design, and just like Atomic Skull he would be a great lesser known villain to finally receive the figure treatment!

4. Rogol Zaar

A more modern age villain to be introduced into Superman lore, Rogol Zaar made headlines as the creature that had assassinated Krypton. The miniseries that introduced him was a bombastic start to Bendis' run with Superman, and Rogol's return in the 2018 comic series was no less action-tastic as Superman fought with all his life against the monster responsible for so much death. This character is prime and ripe for the Mega-fig treatment!

3. Metallo

Getting into more of the A-note Superman villains who we haven't seen quite yet, Metallo is one with a few different designs across comic history to pull from. Whether they go full cyborg, or partly humanoid still, Metallo is a feature Superman foe. The man with the "kryptonite heart." While new sculpting  is always preferred, I can honestly look at the above design from the New 52, and a repaint/retool of the existing Dark Knight Returns Armored Batman figure comes to mind!

2. Parasite

This is a mega-fig I would throw down money for without thinking. Parasite is such a wicked villain from Superman comics, with his pink and white color pallet easily recognizable and the gruesome mouth something that Mcfarlane could really have fun with when it comes to sculpting detail. The All Star Superman design is my go-to for the character, but anything that falls in line with the above picture is something I'll be happy with!

1. Cyborg Superman

I'm honestly surprised that we didn't get this character last year when we got so many other Reign of the Supermen characters, between Eradicator, Superboy, Steel, and even Doomsday. Cyborg Superman seems to be the odd one out, still waiting to be realized again in figure form by Mcfarlane. While his classic/Rebirth era designs are the most recognizable look for the character (and I'd love to further build out my Rebirth Superman Revenge Squad team), the New 52 Cyborg Superman is a menacing, robotic design that would lend perfectly to Mcfarlane's action figure style! For months now there's been images showed a possible leaked Mcfarlane New 52 Cyborg Superman, and I hope those images turn out to be true because the design looks as thrilling in figure form as I would hope it to be!
