Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic the Hedgehog figures vol 4
5. Tikal
Sonic Adventure got quite the focus in the line not long ago with Big and Chaos being added to the line up, and another character from that iconic Sonic adventure that'd be great in the line would be Tikal the Echidna. The line has been doing a lot better in terms of its female character inclusion, and Tikal would be another step towards balancing out the divide, not to mention her interesting tribal design.
4. Wave and Storm
Like I mentioned, we get Jet in the line, now I would absolutely love for the rest of his team from Sonic Riders to be updated in action figure form. Sonic Riders was one of the videogames I played endlessly growing up, making Jet and his companions integral parts of the Sonic universe to me even if their overall franchise presence is not the heaviest. Wave would be another female figure for the line, and Storm would be another heftier figure in the same vein as Big the Cat.
3. E-102 Gamma
Jumping back to Sonic Adventure, one of the most emotional storylines to come from Sonic games involve this robot's journey from loyal servant of Eggman to one that was fighting to free his fellow robots from Eggman's control. That has given him a lasting impact on the franchise, and even saw his story play out in Sonic X's interpretation of the Sonic Adventure storyline.
2. Sonic the Werehog
As many Sonics as we are constantly getting in the line it would be nice for one of them to be the Werehog version as opposed to rereleasing the same Sonics again and again. Just like Sonic Riders, Sonic Unleashed was another game from my childhood that for me ranks as one of the best Sonic games out there. While not without its faults, Sonic Unleashed was a killer time and debuted a truly epic redesign for Sonic that I have no doubt would sell out as a new action figure!
1. Mecha Sonic MK 2
The only wishlist slot holding over from the previous list is Mecha Sonic MK 2, one of the final bosses of the original Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles videogame. Metal Sonic and Mecha Sonic have both been in the line for a while, released in both 2.5 inch and 4 inch variations, not to mention Metal Sonic 3.0 coming out in the most recent wave. I personally think that Mecha Sonic MK 2 is the slickest looking robot version of Sonic to come from the franchise, with a taller frame, fiercer spikes, and with a character like Nack getting an action figure, as well as the Hard Boiled Heavies, I'm still eagerly awaiting an action figure of a villain design not appreciated enough in the franchise!
