Top 5 most likely Transformers Studio Series figures for 2025

With 2024 halfway over at this point and Hasbro's Transformers Studio Series offerings seemingly revealed for throughout the rest of the year I figure it would be a good time to go ahead and lay out my biggest predictions for what the line will bring in 2025! I might be a bit early with this; however, SDCC is later this month and is known for large scale announcements and I wouldn't be surprised if a good look at the start of Studio Series 2025 was at least pipeline revealed for us! I got nearly every single guess of my 2024 list realized this year, and hopefully I'll have the same success rate for my guesses for 2025's most likely figure releases!

5. Que

I'm hoping that next year will finally be the year we get Que updated in the line as the character is sorely in need of it. We've completed nearly the entirety of the Michael Bay character line up from the first three films in the series, with Que a huge absence when looking at the Dark of the Moon display. He has the potential for one of the coolest headsculpts in the line, and hopefully plenty of accessories too to match his menagerie of a backpack!

4. WFC Autobot infantry

We got a Decepticon soldier from the games this year, so it would make sense the balance out the field and give us a generic Autobot soldier from the games as well. I can see them easily taking the Sideswipe mold and retooling it into an army builder to complement what they did with Barricade this year.

3. Transformers: One figures

We've had Optimus Prime from the upcoming movie already revealed for Studio Series; however, as the next big movie in the Transformers franchise I am fully expecting plenty more figures to be revealed and released to coincide with the film! While I don't think it will get as big as a figure rollout as Rise of the Beasts did, I still expect a fair number of characters to get action figures pretty quick.

2. WFC Skywarp and Thundercracker

When it comes to Seekers this is a no brainer to expect in the future. With the Bumblebee movie Skywarp releasing this year we finally finished off our core Seeker trio from that film, just in time for the War for Cybertron Starscream figure to come out begging to be repainted into Skywarp and Thundercracker. Im very excited for these two as I love their videogame designs, and in a rare occurrence they each had very distinct personalities from one another!

1. G1 Constructicons

Ever since seeing the original G1 episodes as a kid the Constructicons have been my absolute favorite Transformers, and with how well recent combiners have been done in the mainline in recent years I am itching for a new set of these green and purple villains! Menasor and the Bayverse Devastator both prove that it is possible to have a great combined form as well as stellar individual bot forms, which is something the Titan class Devastator was missing as the individual members either had strange proportions or lacked necessary articulation points. The big reason why this guy is now making it onto my prediction list for next year is an odd comment that it doesn't seem like anyone else has picked up on from a recent Fanstream. During the Studio Series Springer reveal as the missile accessory was being shown off, one of the designers said something along the lines of "He can hold the missile, maybe to be launched as something big, who knows?" and that sounds to me like a hint that Devastator himself could be coming in hot as the next big Transformers combiner release!
