Most Anticipated Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts figures for 2026

Image
2026 is already looking to be an amazing year for S.H.Figuarts from Tamashii Nations as they seem to produce more and more figures from numerous sources each year! 2025 left me on a high from figure releases, and 2026 is already looking to do the same and we haven't even made it one month into the year in terms of knowing what the year is bringing! With everything we know will be releasing in 2026, these are my top anticipated S.H.Figuarts so far!   Toji (Image Source) The return of the JJK line was one that went with the perfect choice for me. The flashback arc in season 2 was one of my favorite portions of the series, and with the rerelease of the younger Geto and Gojo the writing was on the wall for Toji to come to the line! His articulation looks insane, his accessory load out is fitting for this character's design at this time, and while the Jujutsu Kaisen line revival has jumped into the Culling Games with more recognizable characters like Yuji and Yuta, the initial jumps...

5 More Great Figures from 2025

Image
There are a few figure releases from 2025 that don't necessarily fit in to any of the lists I talked about before and are from toylines that don't necessitate their own ranking list. I still wanted to talk about them regardless as some of these figures would be amongst my overall top figures of the whole year, and some of the companies they hail from are ones I'll definitely be looking into more throughout 2026 and hope to see more of in general! In no particular order of ranking, here are five more absolutely fantastic figures from 2025 that I had to get mentioned! Blokees engineering improvements (Image Source) Something I jumped into this year was Blokees Galaxy line of Transformers model kits. Extremely fun little sets that make it affordable and easy to build out a G1 display fast, as well as a Transformers: One display, Shattered Glass display, and it seems like the future is only going to open up more of the Transformers franchise to this excellent series. With the r...

Top 10 favorite Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures of 2025

Image
2025 has come to a close for Mcfarlane's DC line, and it has been a bittersweet year. On one hand they were delivering constantly great action figures and an amazingly diverse range of character selections (who would've thought we would be getting Darkstars and  Malcolm Merlyn has non-Platinum main line releases?) but on the other hand we were delivered the news that Mattel will be taking back the license ownership. We will be getting figure through 2026 by Mcfarlane but after that the future is unclear of Mcfarlane's line will end in its entirety as Mattel takes over. Regardless of what the future brings, McFarlane's DC comics line of figures is still one of my main collecting focuses, and with a plentiful supply of amazing figures being released in 2025 this is my retrospective of my top ten favorite Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures of 2025!  (Images Source) 10. Kingdom Come Superman It felt like it took longer than we should've to get one of the most iconic Superm...

Top 5 favorite Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts of 2025

Image
Tamashii Nations' S.H.Figuarts line had another incredible year of releases throughout 2025. Though the price increases weren't the funnest pill the swallow, the quality of the figures were phenomenal as always. Multiple lines were firing on all cylinders, and in this list I'm going to break down the five figures that wowed me most from the 2025 offerings that I picked up! (Images Source) Honorable Mention: Ichiraku Ramen shop set One of the funnest releases had to be the Ichiraku Ramen play set for the Naruto line. This came out when the line was bursting with releases and seemed to be firing on the same rate as the One Piece and Dragon Ball line, with an entire playset cementing its status as one of the big long running lines. While the break in Naruto figures hasn't been fun, the Ichiraku Playset still stands as one of the most engaging pieces of the line that greatly help to fill out environmental displays and really breathe life into the characters and the world th...

Top 5 Favorite Star Wars: The Black Series figures of 2025

Image
While the Black Series 6 inch line of figures from Hasbro can sometimes feel like it's slowed down, it no doubt still releases plenty of exceptional releases throughout the year and 2025 was no different! With the first waves of 2026 already upon us, this is my look back at my top five favorite Hasbro Star Wars Black Series figures from last year! (Images Source) 5. Luminara My jaw was literally dropped when I saw the Fan Channel wave reveal of Luminara, Shaak Ti, and Sebulba. Undoubtedly one of the best waves for Prequel fans, and while I personally prefer Shaak Ti I can't deny that Luminara came out as a more well rounded action figure. the soft goods have great detail on them, the head sculpt is immaculate and the design of the headdress still allows for plenty of head movement.  4. Savage Opress A deluxe figure that truly got the attention of fans, one of the most oft requested Clone Wars characters who finally received his due in an outstanding figure release! Savage has t...

Top 5 Favorite Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron ships of 2025

Image
The next toyline I will be looking at for my 2025 retrospective will be the Micro Galaxy Squadron line from Jazwares representing a relatively in-scale line of vehicles from the Star Wars universe. In some ways I feel like this line has slowed since the original booming start of the line; however, I more chalk that up to the line settling in as a constant shelf presence. I will be looking forward to see how the line continues to evolve in 2026, but for now these are my top five favorite vehicles we got in 2025! (Images Source) 5. Tie Striker Rogue One has been steadily getting some love from the line and that definitely escalated this year with the release of the Tie Striker (and another vehicle I'll discuss down the list). The design of the Tie Striker is another unique one for the Tie line and one I was very excited to get with its elongated cockpit and the very angular and aggressive looking orientation of its wings. My only qualm is the thickness of the wings themselves, which ...

Top 5 Favorite Mattel Jurassic World figures of 2025

Image
Jurassic World came back hard with Rebirth, one of my favorite films in the franchise and one that brought a hefty load of fun dinosaur scenes to reinvigorate the series with! The Hammond Collection was firing on all cylinders as well, topping last year's offerings of the Therizinosaurus and Giganotosaurus with some of the very best dinos released in the line thus far, beating out all the competition from the mainline, and to kick off my 2025 figure retrospective I've compiled my top 5 personal favorite Jurassic World figures from Mattel in this list! (Images Source) 5. Troodon The Troodon was a non-movie addition to the line and a very welcome one as I loved its design, its coloration, the smoky eyeballs along with the quills running down its back and head. While a small addition to the line it was a mighty one, and a big win for non-movie Dinosaurs following suit from prior releases like the Irritator.  4. Stygimoloch This had been a long time coming and I was very excited to...
