Most Anticipated Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts figures for 2026

2026 is already looking to be an amazing year for S.H.Figuarts from Tamashii Nations as they seem to produce more and more figures from numerous sources each year! 2025 left me on a high from figure releases, and 2026 is already looking to do the same and we haven't even made it one month into the year in terms of knowing what the year is bringing! With everything we know will be releasing in 2026, these are my top anticipated S.H.Figuarts so far!

Toji

The return of the JJK line was one that went with the perfect choice for me. The flashback arc in season 2 was one of my favorite portions of the series, and with the rerelease of the younger Geto and Gojo the writing was on the wall for Toji to come to the line! His articulation looks insane, his accessory load out is fitting for this character's design at this time, and while the Jujutsu Kaisen line revival has jumped into the Culling Games with more recognizable characters like Yuji and Yuta, the initial jumpstart of the line's return was a character many fans, including myself, had been asking for for a while!

General Shinomiya

The Kaiju No. 8 line has been admittedly very hit and miss during its time. I really respect how many figures its been able to release; however, that does boil down to most of them re-using the same lackluster mold. Kaiju No. 9 is easily the greatest figure in the line so far, and General Shinomiya looks like he could take the number 2 spot with its own distinct mold. We haven't heard much about the line since he was revealed and then Narumi soon after, but 2026 is starting off hot for the line with the looks of this sculpt.

Shigaraki and All Might

The My Hero Academia line has been firing on all cylinders and I'm completely here for it as the final season had me in tears, and the toyline has been a ton of fun so far! There's lots I'm looking forward to from this line so far like their take on Toga, their Overlay Deku, but most of all I'm ecstatic for their versions of Shigaraki and Armored All Might! Shigaraki looks gross, terrifying, and fitted with plenty of articulation to face off against Deku (not to mention the cloth cape!), and any picture of Armored All Might speaks for itself! The armors has a shin too it, and the exact cuts and molds of sculpt are so clean. They are two of the most iconic characters from the series, and S.H.Figuarts looks to be doing them both justice.

Strawhat Pirates and Warlords

If there is any line from Tamashii Nations that is popping off as hard as the Dragon Ball line it is no doubt the One Piece line. It is getting hard to keep track of all the figures they've been releasing from so many different parts of the franchise, but the recent focus on pre-timeskip characters and designs has been especially enticing for me and 2026 is shaping up to be one of the best years yet in the line! We're quickly filling out the pre-timeskip Straw Hats with Usopp and Sanji releasing soon to tie up the East Blue version of the crew, and Chopper joining as well, and the above picture of the crew together giving all sorts of nostalgic vibes. The Warlords of the sea are another group enjoying representation as the line has begun to focus on Marineford (an amazing storyline) and for that we've already got Mihawk, Crocodile, and Hancock slated for release! and all three looks gorgeous.

Return of the Naruto line

I had mentioned before how the Jujutsu Kaisen line had gone on a hiatus before being brought back, and one line I was not expecting to do the same was the Naruto line! It seemed to have been shaping up to be amongst the big three Tamashii Nations figure lines with so many 2025 releases coming out early in the year...and then we got nothing for a long time. Evidently the head designer moved from the line to the HunterXHunter line, but I'm still surprised they let the Naruto line linger as long as it did! The return of the line in 2026 is heralded by another Naruto and another Sasuke which aren't the most exciting after we've already received multiple versions of them, but news that the line is still going has me excited, and I can't wait to see where they go after getting their footing back!

Whitebeard

This is one I had to talk about separate from the rest of the One Piece characters, and one whose tease has me gushing with excitement and anxious for a full reveal! From the moment they confirmed Marineford as a focus I was anticipating a possible tease for this figure, even more so with Ace and Marco getting figures (two very central characters in the Whitebeard pirates). Lo and behold, Edward Newgate himself was finally teased at the end of 2025 and one of my all time favorite One Piece characters ever getting a figure was always going to be the top of this anticipation list! He looks appropriately massive and I'm expecting to pay Kaido/Blackbeard prices for him, but it'll be worth it, especially if he is produced with as much effort as Ace and Marco were! I'm hoping to see him release this year, but at this time I'm awaiting a full on reveal of the prototype, to which I may pass out!
