Top 5 most wanted Sonic Prime figures from Jakks Pacific

Sonic Prime is the newest Sonic the Hedgehog tv show to air and it literally flips the world upside down for the heroes! While it ends on a cliffhanger setting up a definite part 2, Sonic Prime was a ton of fun and brought us through an entertaining adventure with unfamiliar versions of familiar characters! While the primary cast is comprised of series mainstays Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, Rouge, and Eggman, we get several new spins of them and their designs thanks to the Shatterverse, and I sorely hope that Jakks Pacific soon dives into these designs for their Sonic toyline!

5. Mr. Dr. Eggman

As the primary villain of the series, Eggman isn't a solitary force anymore as much as he has become a whole Chaos Counsel. 5 members of the Eggman family out to rule the world, but most clearly Mr. Dr. Eggman is meant to be the big egg himself in charge, and the darkest timeline's version of the primary Dr. Robotnik. I wouldn't be opposed to the whole Chaos Counsel in figure form, but their leader would be a good place to start, especially with that sleek toupee.

4. Knuckles the Dread

Introduced in the third alternate timeline Sonic finds himself within, Knuckles the Dread is a swashbuckling pirate version of our favorite echidna and one who seems to be more preoccupied with partying than he is actual pirating. Throughout the final arc of the series that changes as we're made aware of his brash, courageous past and he becomes a full fledged pirate again. The whole pirate theme was a little corny at times, but Knuckles the Dread looked pretty cool, especially with the wrappings on his dreads.

3. Thorn Rose

Just like how Knuckles the Dread was the primary doppelganger of the pirate universe, the jungle universe Sonic finds himself within has him facing down with the "Beast" of the forest who turns out to be "Thorn" Rose. Disillusioned by senseless abuse of the forest over the years, this world's Amy sought to protect the jungle from harm, and a fierce warrior who goes too far. I would love for Jakks to also make the giant Flicky that she rides; however, I'll settle for Thorn Rose herself.

2. Nine

These next two slots would be the biggies for what I want from a Sonic Prime toyline, the first being the darkest timeline's version of Tails! Without Sonic to save him from bullying and to become his best friend, Tails grew up a loner who built seven additional robotic tails for himself, becoming "Nine!" He plays a major part throughout the series as a whole, and Sonic attempting to rekindle a friendship with him in this timeline is one of my favorite arcs to watch. I don't expect an insane amount of tail articulation if Jakks were to make Nine, but as long as a potential figure can pull off the design and look cool on the shelf I'll be happy!

1. Rusty Rose

The more I saw of Rusty Rose throughout the series, the more I like her. The cybernetic makeover alone looks very cool for Amy, but the way the character is utilized in fight scenes with her extending appendages is endlessly entertaining and her battle against Sonic in the finale was one of my favorite battles of the series. She goes back and forth from the good side to the bad depending on who controls her programming, but the way she reacts to seeing her alternate version self in the pirate universe suggests there is more of a consciousness left than it initially seemed.
