Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse comic book characters vol 4
With the past few years we've been getting a lot of characters from DC Comics from Mcfarlane in his DC Multiverse line. Lots of characters have been getting multiple figures and variations throughout the line, and recently it feels more than ever that we're getting so many new characters brought to the line for the first time. A lot of these characters have been some of my most wanted characters such as Jay Garrick, Impulse, and Batwoman. We also are finally getting a Power Girl, and Wonder Woman as well finally got a very sought after figure based on a standard design. From my previous lists we've also gotten Supergirl and Hawkman, and so the list is nearly completely reset as I've drafted my vol 4 of which characters I want to see brought into the line for the first time from DC Comics.
Honorable mention: Hawkgirl
With Hawkman and other recent winged figures we've seen how Mcfarlane approaches his winged characters lately and I'm not a huge fan. Their Batman who Laughs with Sky Tyrant Wings had an epic pair of posable wings; however, every winged figure since then features no articulation in the wings which are stuck in a neutral, non-flight pose. With this in mind Hawkgirl falls down the list to an honorable mention, but she still remains a major character from both the JLA and JSA I want to see brought into the line eventually.5. Hank Henshaw
Hank Henshaw is an iconic character from DC Comics' history with lots of different looks throughout his history of villainy. With the Zor-El iteration of Cyborg Superman granted an awesomely monstrous figure I think it is now time for the more classic Hank Henshaw Cyborg Superman to be brought into the fold. Many fans would go nuts to have this original version of the villain in their display, and his red costume would be a perfect Platinum repaint.4. Stephanie Brown
With all of the Bat-family members we've gotten over the years, and different iterations of those family members, the absence of Stephanie is becoming more and more apparent. I loved her introduction during Batman Eternal of the New 52, and her inclusion throughout Rebirth's Detective Comics run. Whether they go with her Spoiler costume or the Batgirl design for her I will be happy as long as we finally get Stephanie into the line to really round out a full Bat-family display.3. Black Canary
There have been a few female characters discussed in this post so far, and between them none are as requested as Black Canary. Fans have been demanding this character for years from the line and hopefully 2025 will finally see this great character debuted in the DC Multiverse line! She would be a great candidate for the Collectors Edition line with its alternate face plates granting her a screaming face, and possibly even a sonic scream effect piece.2. Prometheus
In every storyline this character appears in I cant help but think how absolutely cool he is, from his original appearances in New Years Evil and the JLA comics, to his more modern appearances in the Midnighter run. Prometheus has continuously proved a force to be reckoned with, even headlining his own event title in Cry for Justice! I would absolutely love a Prometheus figure in the line and his sick design is one that screams for an action figure treatment.1. Stargirl
One of the only remaining holdovers from my previous posts of my most wanted comic book characters, Courtney Whitmore is easily one of my top five favorite comic book heroes of all time and no Justice Society display of mine will be complete without Stargirl as part of the ranks. With how many Justice Society characters we've been getting as of late it makes me hopeful that we'll get to see this character made before too long, I just hope the scaling works out and we get a Courtney that is appropriately shorter than the other figures in the line!
