Top 5 most wanted Dark Souls 1 bosses for Dark Souls the Board Game

Something I haven't written about in a hot minute is the Steamforged Games Dark Souls the Board Game! I owe it to the lack of products released for it, but the recent influx of new expansions have got me hot on the game once more and I've been thinking about what characters and bosses from the videogame I would love to have in the board game going forward. This is on the assumption that the game will continue to have steady support, but at this point there's been no word really on the future of the game; however, I would love for it to continue to cover the Dark Souls universe! For this post, I will be focusing on the first game in the Dark Souls trilogy and the top 5 bosses from this first game I want to have as expansions in the board game!

5. Gravelord Nito and Crossbreed Priscella
A while ago now, there was some chatter about the future of the line and that included expansions that would add both Gravelord Nito and Crossbreed Priscella to the game. We haven't anything about that for a bit, but I'm hoping that these two are still in the works and their announcement would mean Steamforged means to continue supporting the game after its initial kickstarter expansions. I would also just love to have these two monstrous beasts as bosses in the game, and their models would no doubt be impressive.

4. Capra Demon/Taurus Demon
For no reason in particular, I love the random, basic, generic-ish demon bosses of the games! Monsters like the Asylum demon make for fun bosses to fight and slaughter. Two demons that remind me of that group are the Capra demon and the Taurus demon that are met early on in the game. Both have interesting, demon-like designs that would be great to have represented in the board game, and to further fill out the roster of bosses. Both potentially also present different kind of bosses to fight, as the Taurus demon forced you onto a narrow bridge, while the Capra confined you in a tight spot with two dogs flanking him.

3. Seath
Following the Four Kings, and potentially Nito, we don't have many of the big five bosses from Dark Souls 1. I thought that the main bosses would be sure hits for the board game but so far it doesn't seem like the case. Seath would be a really awesome boss to have in the game, as the design is entirely wicked and stand out in comparison to other dragons, and the gimmick of him having a crystal that renders him invincible unless broken would be really interesting to somehow implement.

2. Quelaag
This is one that I know a lot of different people want in the board game, simply because of how iconic and awesome her design is in the game. A woman whose legs are replaced with a gigantic spider body speaks for itself when argued why it should get a model in the board game, and the popularity of this boss would make it a sure hit for the company.

1. Gwyn
The main boss of the Dark Souls 1 videogame, Gwyn is the ultimate challenge that you build up to over the course of the game and for that reason he is one of the most deserving of an expansion in the board game! His design is not as monstrous or outrageous as some of the other bosses, but his massive crown and heavy set design makes him interesting enough, and no doubt he would be a very powerful boss in the board game to reflect his status in the videogame.
