I cannot wait to see Zach Snyder's director's cut of Justice League as it comes out this year! I've been waiting to see the original intentions of this film since the theatrical cut was released, and at four hours and the addition of characters like Darkseid I couldn't be more excited! I've been waiting as well for Mcfarlane to dip further into the movie universe, more so than the two Wonder Woman figures we got and I hope that with the buzz the Snyder Cut has received Mcfarlane will cash in on the hype and make figures for the movie as well. Hasbro has been trucking along with their Power Rangers line and doing some amazing things; however, to this point the only teams they've completed is the Mighty Morphin group and the Psycho Rangers. I love their template of doing rangers from all over the franchise as it gives us many great choices sooner than if we had to wait through whole teams, but with several of those teams started to come to fruition its got me thinking about which teams from the ones we've started are the ones I want to have finished soonest. The Mandalorian season 2 just recently ended and the second season did not disappoint at all, neither did Hasbro's offerings for the show which have been plentiful. We've gotten so much figure representation based off of all these new characters and designs the Mandalorian universe has given us, and from my previous list talking about my most wanted Mandalorian based figures we've gotten Mando in Beskar armor, Greef Karga, Moff Gideon, and Kuill. Mandalorian season 2 was amazing from start to finish, delivering an incredible story with so many awesome characters introduced throughout. With the eight episode season coming to an end recently, I'm writing this list to focus in on each of those episodes and break down which characters I'd like Hasbro to make figures of most from each one. I can safely say without a doubt that Mcfarlane has blown me away by their line of DC Multiverse figures. I've long waited for DC comics to get a line of retail action figures that stand out to what a lot of the other big toylines have, and I think we've reached far beyond that point now. It has been a fantastic first year for the company and the line, and while I hear complaints about the line being too Batman focused I know that the character sells and that as long as the figure quality stays as good as it is they can do whatever they want. I'm just happy to have DC figures with top grade articulation and absolutely amazing sculpting work put into them. 2020 has been a great year for Star Wars the Black Series from Hasbro. With no movie coming out that the line has to cater to, the line really had a chance to breath and catch up on characters with this lull. We got a great offering for the Prequel saga, while Empire Strikes Back celebrated an anniversary with a slew of new figures, not to mention Return of the Jedi, Clone Wars, and the Mandalorian all getting a great amount of new figures as well! It really is a great time to be a Star Wars collector, and 2021 is looking similarly great with figures like Moff Gideon and Bo Katan just being the start of a great year. Year 2 of Hasbro's Lightning Collection line has come to an end and it has been an outstanding year that really make me excited for Hasbro's ownership of the license. I thought that their ranger figures were great, the villains they were doing looked great, but they keep upping the game by introducing vehicles, a deluxe price point to do larger scale monsters, and overall I'm just amazed by the wonders Hasbro is doing with the franchise! I can't wait for their third year which is already looking great, but before 2021 begins I'm going to go over my top 5 favorite Lightning Collection figures of 2020. Honorable mention: Psycho ranger 5 pack The first team pack for the line was a bittersweet experience for many.
