Top 5 favorite Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures of 2020

I can safely say without a doubt that Mcfarlane has blown me away by their line of DC Multiverse figures. I've long waited for DC comics to get a line of retail action figures that stand out to what a lot of the other big toylines have, and I think we've reached far beyond that point now. It has been a fantastic first year for the company and the line, and while I hear complaints about the line being too Batman focused I know that the character sells and that as long as the figure quality stays as good as it is they can do whatever they want. I'm just happy to have DC figures with top grade articulation and absolutely amazing sculpting work put into them. With Mcfarlane's first year with the license coming to a close, here is a look at my personal top five favorite figures from the line!

5. Teen Titans Cyborg
I've always been a huge fan of this iteration of the Teen Titans and I grew up watching them on television. I hadn't even thought of the idea of this version of the team being done in action figure form until Mcfarlane revealed the Cyborg based upon this design, showing that he truly is digging deep for some of his figure inspirations. The figure looks incredible and so well done, like he just stepped off the screen, with the white and blue color designs always being one of my all time favorites for the character.

4. Red Hood
From the instant this figure was revealed it was clear that it was going to be a winner for the line and the end of the year has been nothing but fans gushing over how well done this figure was. It is for sure one of the best to come from the line, with superb articulation and a great sculpt. The glossy red paint used for the helmet is also a stroke of genius, adding another level of awesome to the figure.

3. Dawnbreaker
The originally Walmart exclusive wave of Dark Knights Metal figure were for sure one of the most sought after wave of figures to come out this year, and one of my personal favorites from this assortment was the Dawnbreaker. This eerie version of Batman mixed with Green Lantern is so creepy in form and the added sculpting detail complements the figure to make such a unique figure for the display with a great effect piece to go along with him.

2. Devastator
If there is any figure that out right shows that Mcfarlane deserves this license, it is their Devastator figure. Released for no extra msrp, this figure is enormous, weighty, and something I'm sure Mattel never would have given us. The sculpting work on the figure is purely incredible, and the quality feels rock solid. The hinging jaw just adds to the amazing wealth the figure offers, and there's no denying that the Devastator will go down as one of Mcfarlane's finest.

1. Rebirth Flash
Despite the beauty of the Devastator, there is another figure that tops him for me and that has to be the Rebirth Flash! I haven't been able to put the figure down, at all, for months. The articulation scheme is incredible and allows so many dynamic poses for running, jumping, or whatever else you want to do with a Flash figure. The sculpting work is crisp, and the single release comes with a slew of great lightning effect pieces. If this is how well done Mcfarlane can do their speedsters, then I cannot wait for them to delve into more of these characters because Flash has definitely won me over for best Mcfarlane DC figure of the year.
