Top 5 most wanted The Mandalorian Black Series figures vol 4
The Mandalorian season 2 just recently ended and the second season did not disappoint at all, neither did Hasbro's offerings for the show which have been plentiful. We've gotten so much figure representation based off of all these new characters and designs the Mandalorian universe has given us, and from my previous list talking about my most wanted Mandalorian based figures we've gotten Mando in Beskar armor, Greef Karga, Moff Gideon, and Kuill. So with season 2 fresh on my mind, and Hasbro's love for this show evident, here is my updated list of my most wanted 6 inch scale Black Series Mandalorian figures. With spoilers for season 2 ahead.
I thought it was unfortunate that we didn't get much of this cool seeming character in season 1, but season 2 remidied that by bringing her back and making her part of the primary team for the last few episodes of the season. Her marksman skills were greatly displayed, and I loved the blend of orange and black for her outfit. Not to mention that she is currently Boba's right hand, and looks to play a major part in his upcoming show as well.
It was for sure an amazing feeling getting Ahsoka Tano in live action and seeing her being her. We've gotten a couple of figures for the character over the year, but I think the next one due is her live action iteration. Through her we got so much information about Grogu and who he is, and now she has her own upcoming television show so I think a figure based on this version of Ahsoka should be more than guaranteed.
A new type of trooper that was for sure to be reckoned with, the Dark Troopers were Gideon's own creations that harkened back to droid battalions, removing the living component of soldiers. They were large, intimidating, and the finale fight between Mando and one of these troopers showed the prowess of these clankers. They may also display well with a certain Jedi from the original trilogy.
Coming out of the penultimate episode of the season I knew exactly which figure had to be made, and it is one I think could be really likely. Hasbro loves producing troopers for their Star Wars line, and the transport trooper would be a really easy one to do seeing as that it reuses the Mudtrooper body with the Rogue One Tank pilot helmet, both of which is already in the line. I loved the green hue to the designs, but what I want most of all is a Mayfeld unmasked head for the figure. I loved getting the return of this character, and am still waiting for a figure of him to be made.
I have never really been into Boba Fett as much as other people are. I never found him very impressive in the original trilogy, and the hype surrounding the character just helped to distance myself further since I didn't see what all the hype was about. This show in one episode though made the character that epic bounty hunter that everyone made him out to be, and I can safely say that I'm on the Boba fan boat now. His tease at the beginning of the season was chilling, and we basically got an entire episode devoted to showing him off later on. I'd take any version of the character they want to put out, and just like Fennec Shand, I think this figure should be a lock due to his own upcoming series.
