This is a bit of an odd post for me to write, as it is basically a most wanted list of my top 5 most wanted accessories in a line, but I think it is one that works very well. Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic the Hedgehog figures just came out, and included with them are smaller discs that can fold out into full (smaller sized) characters. These discs can be spun and rolled similar to the original game mechanics, and each disc depicts the different characters in a pixel style similar to the older games. For me, these discs represent pixel style, retro game versions of the characters and can functions as a toy line up all their own. We've already gotten a few characters from these discs, but here are the top 5 spinner disc Sonic figures I want most in Jakks Pacific's Sonic line.

5. Cream or Cheese
I've talked about how much I like Cream in my post talking about my most wanted Sonic figures from the line, and that extends here as I think a spinner disc of here could be a lot of fun. The other option that I think would work perfectly would be if they finally made a Cream figure, and the spinner disc included with her is of her partner Chow, whose species was featured in a lot of the older games. Anything to get these two characters into the line.

4. Alternate poses for existing discs
We've seen this a little bit already with the Tails disc in wave 2 depicting him flying, so there's potential for us to see more of this in the future. Characters like Knuckles and Shadow who have only received one so far could easily be given another where they're running, and it would add a lot of variety to the discs to recreate scenes from the original games.

3. Metal Sonic
The figures being added in wave 2 of the line come with a lot of discs that don't represent them. Metal Sonic is one of those figures who doesn't get a spinner disc in his wave, but hopefully just like Shadow receiving his in wave 2, Metal Sonic will also receive one in a later wave.

2. Super Sonic
Super Sonic comes with a spinner disc of regular Sonic running, but I really want to get one of super Sonic himself, either running or not, because in classic pixel form I think it could look awesome. It is an iconic form for Sonic himself, and it wouldn't be right for Jakks Pacific to skimp out on doing as much super Sonic merchandise as possible.

1. Dr. Eggman
Getting Eggman in the second wave is going to be a lot of fun and definitely a long awaited debut, but the disc he comes with is one of his robots rather than himself which itself is a fun gimmick but leaves us lacking the main man himself. He was constantly present throughout the original games, and his goofy pixel art in the original game would look great on the discs, especially if we get one of him running with his arms flowing behind him. The discs from the Sonic line have as much variation potential as the figures themselves, so hopefully they delve into their own character pool a little more soon.
