I meant for this post to be released long ago, and I even had to remake it recently due to the reveal of wave two of Jakks' to be released line at SDCC this year. Included in that wave were Metal Sonic, Super Sonic, and Eggman who were three characters on my own most wanted list. I've found characters to fill their slots though, and in anticipation of this new 4 inch line by Jakks Pacific covering the Sonic characters, here are the top 5 most wanted Sonic figures I want in the new line!

5. Big the Cat
This guy is a relatively more minor character in the lore and the continuity, but I've always liked him a lot. His design is very stand out against many of the other characters, with his size and purple coloring towering over the others, along with his lack of intelligence. I also had his old McDonald's video game you would get from Happy Meals, causing him to stick in my mind even more.

4. Cream the Rabbit
Another character who doesn't play much of a role in the lore, Cream is one of Sonic's friends and an extreme pacifist and bubbly character who is almost always in the presence of her friend Cheese. So far, I haven't seen that the new figures come with extra accessories aside from their little character discs, but this release warrants a mini figure of Cheese to be released along side her.

3. Rouge the Bat
This is one of the more tertiary characters in the franchise but an important one and one with an interesting design to her. I like her wings and the devilish attitude that she carries with her, as well as being one of the notable foes that Sonic has come across over the years.

2. Silver the Hedgehog
Silver is the next main Hedgehog character (Aside from the number 1 spot) who hasn't been made now that we have Shadow and three versions of Sonic. He has a very cool design that helps him stand out from the others of his species, and his silver coloration would be very cool in figure form I think. He played an interesting role in the lore, hailing from the future in order to change the past, and with the first two waves dealing out most of the main characters this would be a perfect secondary character to use in wave 3.

1. Amy Rose
The first two waves of the line have covered nearly all of the integral, major characters from the Sonic franchise but there is one who is definitely and sorely missing from the line up. Amy is considered one of the four main protagonists in the series and is constantly by Sonic's sides with her massive mallet. Her lack of presence in the toyline is definitely sticking out like a sore thumb and wave 3 almost has no choice but to include her.
