Top 5 most wanted NECA 1980s cartoon TMNT figures vol 2
NECA is rolling full steam ahead with their Turtles line and that goes especially well for their cartoon line which has slammed through many major characters in a very short line. Several characters from my own most wanted list have found their way on NECA's production line, including Metalhead, Casey, and April, with the line not showing any signs of slowing soon. So here is my new top 5 list of the 1980s cartoon Ninja Turtles characters I want from NECA's line next.

5. Usagi Yojimbo
This was a really fun character to appear on the show and to have around with the turtles, and as far as figures go this would be a really fun one and one that would stand out really well among all the other wacky characters of the line. It is a giant bunny samurai, and I'm itching for NECA to make this character.

4. Triceratons
This is another collection of zany character from the old show that would definitely be a welcome additions to fans of the line and the show. These were creatures bipedal like most characters in the show who had Triceratops head and that is absolutely crazy. Turtles characters always stand out in the best ways, and definitely have designs to make them awesome figures.

3. Baxter Stockman
Remaining from the last list is a main character fromt he show and the Turtles lore. Baxter Stockman was a scientist who then became a fly man that constantly made problems for the heroes. Just like every other character on this list, his design was very freakish and would translate into an incredible figure. Where else will we get an ugly fly man who wears pants and a sweater vest? Nowhere besides a ninja turtles line, that's where.

2. Splinter
This is a character I'm surprised we still haven't gotten yet with his importance to the Turtle's backstory, the story of the show, and the overall lore of the franchise. Splinter is the mentor and father to the heroes and is always there to aid them in their journeys. I'd be surprised if he still didn't show up in the next batch of Turtles figures, as he is much too major to be left out for much longer.

1. Krang's android body
This version of Krang is the one I'm most familiar with, and the one that I think is more iconic to fans and the franchise as a whole. His clunky looking mech suit, that looks like a shirtless man, is awesome in the best ways and like I've said for many of the other characters: it would look fantastic as a figure! At SDCC, in NECA's display booth, the previous version of Krang they released was holding the blueprints for this suit, and hopefully it is a tease for the future and not just the designers having fun.
