Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse Batman v Superman movie figures
I've recently talked about my most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures from both the Justice League film and the Man of Steel movie, and now I'm heading on to one of my other personal favorite movies of the series: Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice. A lot of fans were not happy with this movie, but I really enjoyed it and the more and more I think about the movie I like it even more for the thought put into it. A lot about the movie is misunderstood from what I can tell, like people genuinely thinking Batman and Superman stopped fighting just because their mothers shared a name (that's not the reason, just to be clear), but while I could go on forever explaining the movie I'm here to talk toys! We haven't quite delved into the movie universes with Mcfarlane's line as much as I would like, but hopefully that changes soon and in hopes of that these are my top 5 most wanted DC Multiverse figures from BVS!

This would be the easiest figure on the list to do because we already have a Wonder Woman figure. While it is based on her Wonder Woman 1984 outfit, her costume is practically the same in every movie so they would just have to take that figure, give it the harness that holds the sword, and then the sword and shield themselves. Her role in this movie, and her participation in the big fight at the end is still one of my favorite moments with the character in this universe and I'd double dip on her figure to get her with her weapons.
Mattel gave us two versions of this character when they covered this movie which I honestly found surprising; however, neither were the version I was hoping for. Lex Luthor had tough shoes to fill in my opinion coming off of General Zod who I saw as one of the best comic book villains of all time. While Luthor didn't dethrone Zod for me, he came darn close and I really liked the subtle version of the character we got. So much of his backstory is just inferred through his dialogue, and he has been moving the pieces of the chess board long before the movie even opens, having long ago deduced Superman and Batman's identities. One of my all time favorite scenes in the DCEU is the conversation between Superman and Lex atop the Lexcorp building, when Lex is wearing the long jacket he wears throughout the climax of the movie, and that's the outfit I would want a figure of for Lex.
Ben Affleck's Batman was just about as perfect a Batman on the big screen when compared to the comics as we've gotten to this point. I loved the darker, grittier, worn out Batman we got, and we can practically see the years he's acquired as a vigilante. There is a wealth of history in the character that we don't get from exposition but from the acting and snippets of dialogue, and I really appreciated that take on the character. I would take either outfit in figure form from this movie, though I know Mcfarlane has a thing for bigger, bulkier suits of armor.
I'm not sure if this character is really even feasible as a figure due to his immense size in the movie. I've heard a lot of complaints levelled towards this character and its depiction; however, its a big monster that fought Superman and that is all I could ask of it. Doomsday was spoiled in the trailers but that didn't make the debut and fight with this character any less intense and awesome, and I would gladly pay an arm and a leg to get a massive, gargantuan figure that this character would surely require.
I've talked about this rendition of the character to the point of exhaustion it feels. He's shown up on so many of my most wanted lists that it is hard to keep from repeating myself at this point, but I do have specific things to say about this movie in regards to the character. It was such a fresh idea for the silver screen to explore Superman dealing with the ramifications of his being an alien with immense power and how they would in turn leave the public viewing him. One of my favorite scenes is one where Superman is simply saving people while a host of newscasters discuss his presence in the world, and Superman dealing with all that so soon after revealing himself to the planet was a unique journey to watch him go on.
