Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse Infinite Frontier Suicide Squad figures
One of Infinite Frontier's flagship titles came to an end with issue 15, and during that 15 issue run Suicide Squad wasn't always perfect, and came across as disjointed many times in my reading, but it offered up a lot of cool characters that got the spotlight like never before, and set Amanda Waller up in a new position of power going forward! SPOILERS
It was a short encounter during the run that brought the Suicide Squad face to face with one of the newest members of the Green Lanterns, but it was enough to bring her into my list here! Jo is a character I'm happy to see more and more of, and will hopefully see her in Mcfarlane's line one day as a character with a wicked set of shades!
One of the most entertaining characters in the series came about a little later in the run, but no doubt left his mark as one of the best characters included! Ambush Bug's constant fourth wall breaks were a comedic joy, and his eventual pairing with Peacemaker was a perfect duo with how they played off each others' personalities!
Initially introduced to us as a mindless killer who could only spout the word, "Who?" my mind was thrown into turmoil during Red X's escape attempt and the scene they shared together. When Red X prompted Talon to "drop the act," the killer responded with, "Who...the hell are you, child?" and Talon instantly became one of my favorite characters of the series for the mystery behind him! Not to mention, he'd make a great army builder for the Court of Owls!
Another fantastic mystery that the comic pulled off was including "Superboy" on the team and the question of how and why he was there...answer: it wasn't Superboy at all. It was a clone called "Match" whose footprint in comic history became much bigger after this series! My preferred look for a hopeful figure of this character would be from later in the series, with the backwards S and more Bizarro-like skin.
Just like Ambush Bug, Major Force was drafted into the team later into the series and I think he was just as good of an addition as Bug was! His violent, boisterous, rude demeanor reflected well against Match and the other members of the squad! His eventual death caught me off guard and saddened me a bit because I loved seeing him interact with the characters, but hopefully his role in this recent comic series boosts his chances of getting a figure from Mcfarlane!
