Top 5 wanted Marvel Legends from Thor: Love and Thunder
Hasbro's Marvel Legends wave for the fourth film in Thor's live action tenure did a great job giving us pretty much all of the big character from the movie; however, there are a few more which would help the display truly feel complete!
If the Guardians are still wearing these variations on their costumes by the time their third film comes out then we will in all likelihood get these versions of the characters in the line but for now all we have is Star-Lord in his post-Endgame attire. We also got Groot but it is primarily a rerelease of the Infinity War three pack figure. There aren't any major changes with the look of the Guardians here, though Mantis' headpiece is one of the most striking.
One of the most visually striking scenes in the film was when they confronted Gorr in his own stomping ground leading to a purely black and white atmosphere only every so often broken up by the light of the hammer which was such a cool effect! I think a figure cast in black and white can obtain the same effect.
Getting into the characters of the film who I think are truly missing from the display, the first one starting off will be Love, Gorr's daughter who returns in the end as Thor's new ward! Seeing the two of them together as a duo in future Avengers projects will be an absolute delight and I already love the taste we got at the end of this film. Bonus points if the makeover hammer is included as an accessory!
Touted as the big post credit scene reveal, I have absolutely no doubt that Hercules in his MCU rendition will receive a Marvel Legends figure at some point, most probably when he makes his more prominent appearance down the road. For now he remains an incredibly comic accurate post credit tease, and one I wouldn't mind getting in a two pack with my number one spot...
What a jerk! But the entertainment of the scenes he was in was some of the best in the movie. Watching him show off with his thunderbolt brought about many chuckles, and he really just painted a picture for how far so many of the purported "Gods" that Gorr was hunting had fallen. His costume definitely pushes him into the more action figure oriented territory as well, with him being the perfect vessel to get the Thunderbolt into the line for all the other characters to wield!
