Transformers continues to be one of the flagship brands of Hasbro's toylines, and 2024 was no different with several unbelievable releases across their many different lines. From the conclusion to Legacy, the continuation of Studio Series, and a long awaited Masterpiece offerings, these are my top 5 favorite Hasbro Transformers figures of the year 2024!

5. Commander Class Optimus Prime
There likely is not a single favorites list of 2024 talking about Transformers that does not include this figure. The Commander Class Optimus Prime was highly anticipated and completely delivered on the premise of giving us the perfect Optimus Prime figure. It is a beautiful piece that matches the animation and includes all of his signature accessories, allowing fans their chance at an Optimus Prime that will be impossible to top in the mainline again.
4. Magmatron
One of the biggest surprises of last year was the Legacy Commander Class spot being taken by a more obscure character hailing from the Japanese animation side of Transformers. That turned out to be a great choice, as Magmatron made for an epic design and action figure that really was a well put together piece of engineering and uniqueness.
3. Bumblebee movie Shockwave
The release of the core class Shockwave from the Bumblebee movie during the height of Studio Series releasing Bumblebee movie figures really perplexed me as it didn't fit with the rest of the display at all. 2024 finally rectified this with the release of a voyager class rendition that continues the trend of Shockwave figures being some of the best, as this Bumblebee movie voyager version of Shockwave captures the details and design of the character perfectly, with excellent paintwork, and satisfyingly brought to a close the line up of primary Decepticons from the movie's Cybertron scene.
2. Armada Tidal Wave
An absolute grail that was delivered this year was the Titan class Tidal Wave from Transformers Armada. He has always been one of my favorite Transformers characters of all time and 2024 finally delivered on an action figure I've been hoping for ever since I started collecting in middle school. With animation accurate colors and a nifty gimmick to allow him to combine with Megatron/Galvatron even at the Commander class size, Tidal Wave is exactly what Armada fans have been hoping for for years and is an incredible piece to the growing modern releases for Armada.
1. Masterpiece Brawl
After we got Bonecrusher and Blackout in the Masterpiece line the next obvious release was going to be Brawl in order to round out that original Decepticon cast from the 2007 film. As expected, Brawl was released in 2024 and was exactly everything the Masterpiece release needed to be. He was a hefty, expertly detailed release that brings the movie's design into action figure form perfectly, and has been hard to put down and stop messing with since receiving this figure.
