Top 5 favorite SDCC 2019 toy reveals
SDCC ended just this past weekend and over all it was a very mixed bag in terms of toy reveals, and in the end I'd say it wasn't that great of a showing. Going in, due to different circumstances, I wasn't anticipating much but in the end I was still left feeling a bit dry from the reveals. Some lines did end up revealing some great products though, and here I'll be running down my top 5 favorite toy reveals from SDCC 2019!
5. Burning Godzilla 2019
This was a later reveal from NECA and one that I was very excited to see. They had teased another Godzilla: King of the Monsters figure being revealed at the show and I assumed it would be this version of Godzilla since it was the easiest and most obvious figure for them to do. Seeing it fully revealed was great, and the molten, fiery detail on the hunk of plastic looks amazing!

4. Rhino Alien
Neca was the company that I personally thought had the best showing at SDCC. They revealed a slew of new products from across all their lines, and definitely dominated in the likes that is only rivaled by Marvel this year. One of their earliest reveals was the Rhino alien based on the old Kenner toyline. It continues the Kenner inspired Alien figures that I love, and getting this larger, bulkier alien is going to look great alongside the others!

3. Refraktor three pack
Hasbro's Transformers offerings were very slim this year. No new Studio Series, no WFC year 2 reveals, and aside from micromasters and battlemasters everything they revealed for Siege were things that had already leaked out prior. The only thing that was a wholly new sight was the Refraktor three pack, but even then, we knew that this was coming. This was the first time we were seeing it though, and I finally hit the trigger on buying a Refraktor set. I loved Reflector in the original show but felt weird about buying three of the same exact figure, even if it was how he appeared in the show, but this set gave us the three in different colors, with extra accessories, including a Kremzeek figure which was enough for me to finally go for it.

2. Lightning Collection Power Rangers two pack
The quality and playability of the Power Rangers line by Hasbro has made me a huge fan and I was anticipating seeing their wave 2 line up which had been revealed in content only long ago. Seeing the four figures in wave 2 was great, but what really got me was the surprise two pack of the Green Ranger from Mighty Morphing with a Putty! I've loved how this line delves into the villains as well, and getting an awesome Putty figure just solidifies this line's awesomeness, especially as it comes with alternate hands for their different weapons. The Green Rangers looks awesome, and it is definitely a must have purchase from the line.

1. Marvel Legends Endgame wave 3
I was anticipating this to be shown at the show, and I wasn't let down. The wave is wholly made up of movie characters which I wished they would do for every movie wave, and the character selections are definitely some of the best ones they could have chosen. We're finally getting Iron Man from Endgame, an accurate Iron Patriot is being released as well. Vision is getting rereleased which is good for m since I never found the two pack, Heimdall is finally getting a figure, Valkyrie is getting her second figure and this time in the outfit we all really wanted. 2012 Captain America is being released, posed at the show with his butt on display in reference to Endgame, with the build a figure being Thor in is hoodie and red robe which looks phenomenal as an action figure! I'm still hoping for his armored look later on, but the fact that this version of him is getting a figure astounds me in a good way. Overall the wave is extremely satisfying, covers several needed characters, and it is definitely the best out of the three Endgame waves by a long shot.
