Most wanted NECA Alien figures
NECA's Alien line has really kicked it into full gear lately in my opinion. For a time, they seemed to be scraping the bottom of the movie bin for characters, but then they started to delve into the comics, games, and other materials for new figures which has turned out great. My personal favorites have been the Kenner inspired figures based upon the original toyline. This new energy in the line has gotten me thinking about what Alien figures I want to see next in the toyline, and spoilers, it includes a lot of Kenner aliens.

Honorable mention: Joker Alien
We got shown this alien a LONG time ago. It was another one of those DC two packs that ended up in limbo; however, we finally received two of those two packs as SDCC exclusives this year, leaving us still wanting this third one. Hopefully this pack can one day make it into our hands, because that Joker Alien looked stunning.

Honorable mention 2: Flying Queen Alien
If this were to be made, it would be an absolutely amazing figure on NECA's part. It would be like taking their existing Alien Queen figure, and turning the dial up past 11. The expansive wings and crest atop the head help this alien stand out; however, I imagine that this figure would be insanely massive as well. So I'm not sure NECA would go in on it, as it is a one use figure essentially and can't be re-purposed like their Alien Queen figure.

Panther alien and Night Cougar alien
I think this would be an easy figure for NECA to do. It looks very similar to their Dog Alien from the third film. If it is possible for Neca to take their dog alien figure and turn it into this alien hybrid, it would be an easy retool and a figure that many collectors would likely buy. I cannot tell whether or not there is any difference between the Panther alien and the Night Cougar alien aside from color, so I'm lumping them in together on the occasional that producing one would make the other one an easy repaint to do.

Wild boar alien
There are several four legged Kenner aliens coming up, and this one is arguably the one I find the least compelling. I love it, as I do all the wacky Kenner concepts, but this one just seems to have less going on. I like the spikes sticking out of its head. but aside from that there's nothing to differentiate it much aside from being four legged.

Bull alien
This one is quite similar to the Wild boar alien, except this time instead of a bunch of spikes on its head there are two large horns protruding from either side of its head. This figure could turn out very beefy though, as bulls are known for being, and its red coloration would look very cool in the alien mold.

Rhino alien
Continuing with the four legged aliens, the Rhino alien I find the most compelling of the three. It is big, thick, has a huge horn on the front of its head, two large tusks on either side of its mouth, and rather than toes on the feet it has hoofs. This one has the possibility of being the coolest out of the last three aliens I went through.

Arachnid alien
The design on this alien is completely wild and absolutely crazy. It barely resembles the standard alien aside from the aesthetic and the head design, as it has a new body type with six spindly legs. The multiple legs offer a lot of possibility for this figure to be great, just as the Mantis was, and outlandish designs such as this one are the ones I want to see.

Swarm alien and alien Volant
This was a cool figure set that I found out about while researching for this article. At first I thought it was two smaller figures in one, but then I realized that you also put them together to create one creature. Both parts of this alien are cool in design. The top is a giant fly-like beast, which the wings alone I know NECA would make great, and the bottom is a two legged, pincer tipped creature, both of which would look amazing as NECA figures.

Killer crab alien
There is so much going on with this figure and I hope that every part of it translates into a NECA figure one day. First off, like I mentioned before, the red coloring would look great with paint applications and it only gets cooler from there. It has four legs and four arms, which make it extremely cool and a perfect beast for sculpting talent. The elongated tail is trademark of the alien design, and the fact that it shoots projectiles from its chest would be a very cool concept for NECA to implement into their figure.
