Lots of people are familiar with the Clone Wars cg television show which is dearly beloved by many, and finally getting its due process in Hasbro's Black Series line with lots of figures recently coming out to celebrate it. One show that ran for much shorter but equally as great is the Tartakovsky animated Clone Wars tv show which debuted many iconic characters we know today like Ventress and Grievous! Hasbro showed that they are aware of this show a couple years ago when they made an armored Obi Wan based off of one of the show's best segments, and with that entry point to this great feature I've put together my top 5 most wanted figures from this small piece of Star Wars media! Due to the release of Wonder Woman 1984, Wonder Woman became the first movie-verse character in Mcfarlane's line of DC products with not only one figure but two of the titular superheroine. While movie figures haven't been a huge part of the line so far, I hope we keep getting them because I love the live action universe of DC characters we've been getting and the Wonder Woman movies in particular have been great. Neca continues to be a mainstay of the toy world, producing incredible looking action figures of sometimes obscure sources such as Puppet Master! They've already revealed a ton of awesome upcoming products for the year, such as The Boys figures, more TMNT, and even a return to the Friday the 13th franchise! The last time I talked about my most wanted figures from Neca, I included the android Krang suit which we got, along with Traang and Granitor (finally), teases by Neca that a new Predalien is in the works for the future, and while we didn't get the Godzilla 2000 design we did get the Toyko SOS design which is incredilby close. Blue rangers have become as much a staple of the Ranger teams as the Red ranger has, with each and every show in the franchise having a blue ranger as one of the primary supporting characters of the shows. They many times can be some of the funnest, most loyal, and sometimes most serious characters. I'm not surprised that we have already gotten several blue rangers in Hasbro's Lightning Collection line already with how popular they traditionally are, and from my previous list talking about my most wanted Blue rangers in figure form we've now gotten Dino Thunder, SPD, and Lost Galaxy's blue rangers in the collection. Neca made a huge announcement recently with the reveal that they would be taking on the Universal Classic monsters starting with Frankenstein's creature! That figure looks incredible with the great sculpt work we've come to expect from Neca, not to mention the eerie black and white visage. They've already teased an image of the Mummy as the next release in this line, and as an eternal fan of these classic monsters I've been thinking about which creatures I hope to see down the line and these are the five I came up with! A line that has been moving very slowly but seems ready to really take off is Mattel's Amber Collection of Jurassic Park franchise figures! The idea of articulated, highly detailed, in scale dinosaurs to most of my action figure collections is a really cool idea but so far all we've had has been the Dilophosaurus, and several repaints of the Velociraptor mold. I've recently looked at a few movies in the DCEU and what figures I want most from them, but I'm jumping ahead into the future to take a look at an upcoming movie that I'm extremely excited for! The Suicide Squad looks to be the Squad movie we should have gotten in the first place with a cast of mostly Z-tier characters who have a high probability of not making it out of the movie alive! I want a film with those kinds of stakes from the Suicide Squad, similar to their animated movie outings, and James Gunn has promised to deliver just that! Mcfarlane as well has said that he plans on producing figures for the movie, it just comes down to who he will choose to turn into plastic form first. I've given this list a lot of thought ever since Mcfarlane's line was first announced, and even more so now that we've had more than a year to see what his line is like. I've really wanted an expansive DC line of action figures that rivalled Marvel Legends and with Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line I think we've finally gotten that with great articulation, amazing sculpts, and character choices ranging all across the DC multiverse!
