Top 5 most wanted NECA products Vol. 4

Neca continues to be a mainstay of the toy world, producing incredible looking action figures of sometimes obscure sources such as Puppet Master! They've already revealed a ton of awesome upcoming products for the year, such as The Boys figures, more TMNT, and even a return to the Friday the 13th franchise! The last time I talked about my most wanted figures from Neca, I included the android Krang suit which we got, along with Traang and Granitor (finally), teases by Neca that a new Predalien is in the works for the future, and while we didn't get the Godzilla 2000 design we did get the Toyko SOS design which is incredilby close. The license for Godzilla has expired for them anyways. With 2021 already being a great year for Neca and their reveals, here is my updated vol 4 of my most wanted Neca products!

5. More Bif

The Back to the Future line from Neca has been a delight and something I'm sure many collectors didn't know they needed until Neca started pumping them out. We've gotten plenty of Martys so far, along with two versions of Doc Brown; however, we're still sitting with only one Bif and I hope that changes soon for the future. The main villain of the franchise has a lot of iconic looks to be captured, from his elderly and evil alternate future versions from part 2, to Bif's descendent Griff, and his ancestor Buford Tannen!
The announcement that Neca was taking on the toy license for The Boys has paved the way already for two really great looking figures of Homelander and Starlight, and I'm so excited to see where the line goes next! The most immediate want for the line would have to be Stormfront, a character introduced in the second season that really made a big impact on the story and on viewers of the show. Along with Homelander, she is one of the most despicable characters from the show and I hope she's made soon.

3. Vegetable Gremlin and Dancing Gremlin

We were so very close to getting the dancing Gremlin in the collection until the lootlauncher from Neca fell through. We got literally everything else from that prospective set with the ultimate Flasher except for the clothing pieces necessary for making the breakdancing Gremlin, which is a personal favorite from the first film. Hopefully we can end up getting that Gremlin in some form down the line, along with the Vegetable Gremlin which is no doubt one of the most iconic from the second film. Neca themselves have said that the second movie would see a resurgence in figure which we have seen already with Greta, the tattoo Gremlin, and a generic brown Gremlin, so hopefully the no brainer of making the Vegetable Gremlin happens soon too.
Neca has been digging deep with their TMNT line, giving us so many fan beloved characters and even more obscure characters that we weren't sure they would ever get to! The line has been very prolific though, and one of the most notable exceptions to what has been made so far is Mutagen Man. We've gotten lots of other great TMNT baddies like Rat King and Muckman, which leaves me more and more eager to get Mutagen Man in the line too! Neca would no doubt do a great job adapting his floating organs in a clear body design!


1. Jason X
That's right, you read right in the opening paragraph when I mentioned that Neca has gotten back the rights to make figures based on Friday the 13th, which means Jason X is back at the number one spot of my most wanted Neca figure! The movie may not be great, at all, but the design and existence of uber Jason at all is incredible and the idea of Neca giving as a beefy, incredible figure of cyborg Jason Voorhees is enough to ensure Jason X will always top out this list!

Top 5 most wanted NECA Back to the Future figures

NECA gave us a huge surprise this year with the reveal of a full range of action figures for the Back to the Future franchise! This is definitely one of the most popular franchises out there and I didn't know that I needed action figures for it until now! So far we've had a couple of reveals in the form of Marty from the first movie, Marty in the second movie, Marty in his spaceman costume, and then Biff from the first movie. The movies don't have the biggest cast that are ideal for action figure treatment, but I've thought up five from the three movies that need to come into the line after these four! Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic Badniks vol 2

(Images Source) We have been getting more and more robotic Badniks in Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic figures which is very exciting! Primary characters are great, but getting more of the background designs to fill out the scenes is awesome and we've recently got some Badniks I was eagerly waiting for like the Burrobot, Newtron, and most recently the Caterkiller!! Eggman's army is packed to the brim though with all kinds of robotic enemies, and these are five more I hope to eventually see! 5. Jaws The Chopper is not the most posable of the Badniks that we've gotten so far (not that many are very posable to begin with), but it is such a classic design from the series and another underwater enemy would be the Jaws. With Jakks Pacific steadily working through giving us little playsets themed around different levels, a set themed around the underwater sequences would be the perfect way to get this guy into the line. 4.
