Top 5 most wanted NECA Universal Classic Monsters
Neca made a huge announcement recently with the reveal that they would be taking on the Universal Classic monsters starting with Frankenstein's creature! That figure looks incredible with the great sculpt work we've come to expect from Neca, not to mention the eerie black and white visage. They've already teased an image of the Mummy as the next release in this line, and as an eternal fan of these classic monsters I've been thinking about which creatures I hope to see down the line and these are the five I came up with!

The creatures in this movie weren't utilized a whole lot, but their image has still become iconic and practically the face of this more obscure movie in the Universal monsters repertoire. The bulbous, brain-like heads with claws for hands and goggle like eyes all come together to make for a cool looking creature with no precedence in any earthly designs!
One of the biggies from the monsters line up is the Wolfman who has been reimagined time and time again for werewolf movies, proving the lasting power and popularity of this kind of character. I'm sure that given all of the fur detail and wolf like features, Neca would be able to knock it out of the park with an awesomely sculpted figure.
One of my all time favorite Universal monsters has always been the Invisible Man, who had an incredible new movie released last year! The classic look of this character is another that is widely recognized in media, with the wrapped head and sunglasses look being instantly attributed to the Invisible Man! One of the possibly best parts of this potential figure is that popping off the hands and headsculpt would then leave you with an unmasked and ungloved Invisible Man without needing interchangeable parts!
Aside from Frankenstein's creature, this is without a doubt the most famous and well known of the Universal classics monsters! Dracula has been seen time and time again in modern media, with the legend of vampires being an endlessly utilized plot idea. The sweeping cape, the pale features, the slicked back hair, all of these help to make the original Dracula a striking image, and one Neca would no doubt do justice to.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon has always been my favorite among all of the classic monsters, and I really hope that he is one of the next monsters to be done in this new line! The scale plating of its body, the webbed hands and feet, along with the creepy facial features would all be awesome details for Neca to capture in their line! So far the figures in the line are looking great which is to expected from Neca, and I can't wait to see what creatures are done next by them!
