Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse deluxe figures vol 2

From the start of Mcfarlane's time with the license to make DC action figures he has made it evident that he aimed to include larger sized action figures that would dwarf the standard sized figures in some cases! We've seen that already with early examples like the Hellbat armor, along with the Devastator figure a few months after that. Gorilla Grodd is on the horizon, but the reveal of an entirely new "Mega scale" price point with Darkseid and Steppenwolf as the debut figures opens an entirely new option for deluxe sized figures. From my last list talking about the larger scale characters I wanted in this line, we've now gotten versions of Grodd, Darkseid, and Bane from Batman's rogues gallery, so I'm back around to talk about my most wanted deluxe sized figures once again!

5. More Batman villains

There's a whole slew of Batman villains who could fit into this scale and new price point, and I'm expecting to see plenty of them down the road as the line continues on. Killer Croc has been portrayed at different sizes at different times, but the larger scaled renditions of the character are the ones I enjoy most and getting a new figure of his Arkham games design would be awesome. Clayface is another character ripe for the deluxe treatment, and with his uniquely unique design of rippling ooze Mcfarlane could do sculpting wonders for the character.

4. Giganta
One of my favorite Wonder Woman villains of all time is no doubt Giganta, who is just a really cool character in concept and execution. Her ability to grow to gargantuan heights is one not shared by many others in the DC universe, and it is always fun to see her as a go to in many instances for a big action scene, such as her awesome appearance in the DCeased comic series! It has been far too long since we last got a figure of this character, and I hope Mcfarlane gives us one that absolutely towers over the others.

3. King Shark
This character has enjoyed a big increase in popularity over the past couple of years. Appearing prominently in the Suicide Squad comics, the Assault on Arkham animated movie, recurring episodes in The Flash CW show, and even a starring role in the upcoming The Suicide Squad! This massive, humanoid shark-man will always make for a great design and an even better action figure, for which Mattel gave us one that wasn't bad, but I'm excited to see what Mcfarlane could potentially do to make an even better version.

2. Anti-Monitor
Now if there is one character who doesn't have enough action figures to his name, it's this guy. Arguably one of the biggest, and most dangerous villains of the entire DC universe made a big name for himself with the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline back in the 80s, and is still touted prominently despite scarce appearances since then! His returning role in the Sinestro Corps War, as well as his reimagining in the Darkseid War were both standout moments for the character, and I hope that Mcfarlane gives us a new figure of the universe destroyer that truly knocks the previous version out of the waters.

1. Doomsday
The Devastator really is a great figure, and possibly a good indicator of what an eventual Doomsday figure could look like, and that makes me all the more excited for the potential Doomsday figure by Mcfarlane! With this new deluxe price point, the line could truly deliver on a heavy, hulking mass of a monster for Superman to face down on our shelves and I'm all for it! Whether they go the classic comic route, or New 52, or DCEU, I'm there for whatever version of the character they want to produce and I know many fans are eager for this iconic character to be sculpted once again into figure form!
