Top 5 most wanted GI Joe Classified figures vol 3
While getting slow for a little bit, and completely throwing fans for a loop with all of the Target exclusive Cobra island sets, Hasbro's 6 inch GI Joe classified series came back in a big way and delivered a lot of greatness for the line in the recent Hasbropulsecon! A very classic looking Storm Shadow, an awesome Croc Master deluxe pack, equally impressive BATs and Spirit, along with a later reveal of the Alley Viper we've been seeing on the line's packaging from the beginning! Along with the already released Flint and Zartan a lot of my previous most wanted figures have been fulfilled, and going forward this is my part 3 of which Joes or Cobras I'd like to see enter the 6 inch realm next!

The twins gimmick worked in some ways for me, and seemed cheesy in other ways, but when you have characters like Shipwreck (who I will get into later) the cheesiness of designs is half the fun for GI Joe! With most of the other big Cobra characters already entered in the line it is making the exclusion of these two nearly identical twins seemed like a larger and larger hole in the collection! Whether as a two pack, or single releases that some fans may have trouble telling apart in stores, I hope the Cobra ranks grow soon!
Still on the subject of Cobra, Dr. Mindbender is another character from that group that I would love to see updated to a 6 inch scale line and detailing. His outfit is so unique and eye catching, far from the more standard uniforms and outfits we see many of the other characters wearing in the series. With the caped, shirtless body and inclusion of a monocle, this guy is fast becoming a must have!
We've gotten Cobra troops for days at this point! Grunts, officers, vipers, Alley vipers, Red ninjas, BATs, we're amassing quite an army and there's another unit in the Cobra terrorist group that would translate really well to figure form would be the Crimson Guard. Their red coloring would be a stark contrast to all of the cool blues most of the other troopers have, and would look absolutely fantastic on the shelf with their almost regal attire.
We've gotten a lot of really great Joe characters in the line so far but one of my favorites who hasn't yet been adapted to 6 inch form is definitely Dusty. I loved his storyline from the original show in which he was blackmailed by Cobra into stealing Joe secrets for them, which painted him as a traitor in the eyes of his fellow comrades. I really enjoy his desert attire as well and the design of his hat.
I mentioned earlier that I would be coming back to Shipwreck, and out of all the characters remaining to be done in the line this guy is for sure my most wanted now. His classic sailors uniform is so vintage its almost goofy by today's standards but I absolutely love it, I love the blues and the whites along with the hat he wears to complete the outfit! Much like how Spirit came with Freedom, Shipwreck by necessity has to come with his parrot otherwise we will riot!
