Top 5 most wanted GI Joe Classified figures vol 2
The GI Joe line has been growing fast and have been a big hit already, with figures flying off the shelves and plenty of preorders being sold out quickly. A lot of heavy hitters in the series lore have been touched upon, including several from my previous list like Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, and the Baroness, so I'm coming back around in the midst of the Joe craze to update my list with a new set of top 5 characters I'd like to see in their Classified collection! Yo Joe!

5. Flint
From everything I've seen of the original cartoon, Flint seems to play the role of Duke's second. A no nonsense soldier who does everything by the book as the stern hero who continues the fight just like a lot of his Joe brethren and sisters. He would be the most likely choice to further the line of Joe's in the figure set as one of the more popular characters in the line, and his own ego would agree with that sentiment.

4. Dusty
One of my absolute favorite episode arcs from the original show involved Dusty being tricked into helping Cobra in exchange for his ill family being taken care of financially. It was a very complicated situation that gave the hero a true dilemma with what to do. It lead to him coming under fire by a lot of his fellow Joe's as one of the more emotionally thrilling storylines.

3. Alley Viper
Leaning into army builder territory, this character also stands now as the only one from that original poster for the line that hasn't been made into figure form. I love their colorful design especially with the orange color pallet, and their masks as well make for an interesting design point. Their shields would set them apart from all of the guns and swords the rest of the characters wield, and in general we just need more Cobra for our Joe's to punch.

2. Shipwreck
From all of the GI Joe's in the original cartoon, one of my absolute favorites is Shipwreck. I love how distinct his design is as he wears a blue and white sailor's uniform, but beyond that he was a very fun member of the cast. His temperamental attitude lead to a lot of great scenes, including the storyline I mentioned earlier when Dusty was trading Joe secrets to the enemy. He would make a great addition to the toyline, especially if they throw in his trademarked parrot.

1. Zartan
The Cobra side of things are coming together in the toyline, but we're still missing the master of disguise and one of the biggest members of the Cobra ranks thus far. Zartan looks awesome in his own right but his ability to mimic anyone and blend into his surroundings make him an interesting foe, and Hasbro already has laid the groundwork for this character's powers of mimicry. The recent Hoth trooper in the Black Series line for Hasbro features swappable face plates to achieve different faces, and the same design could be used here for Zartan for a perfect capture of his signature ability.
