Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures based on 2021 designs

2021 was a big year for DC with the initiation of the Infinite Frontier era which has been a ton of fun so far! Before that we got the creative and risk taking Future State for January and February, not to mention lots of great tv shows and movies! Mcfarlane's action figure line has also continued to be one of the highlights of the DC fandom, and his support of recent media has been so exciting to have figures for stories I'm just reading! We've already been getting some figures for characters and designs from last year between the Infinite Frontier Robin, Future State's Dark Detective and Next Batman, amongst overs. It was a great year for new characters, new designs, a new era, and these are the top 5 2021 figures I want most from Mcfarlane toys!




5. Superman (Jon Kent)
Taking up the mantle proper, Jon has been leading his own mainline series for a while now and I've been really really enjoying it! Jon has been showing off heart, enthusiasm, and his caring heart as he has begun to find his footing as the new Superman of the world. It was awesome seeing him in that role during Future State, and to see it taking root during present day!


4. Yara Flor
First introduced during Future State (which I had a ton of fun with) before getting her own 'Wonder Girl' series, Yara Flor has been a great injection of charisma and fun into the DC world! She is one of my definite favorite new additions to the comic world, and I love the color choices for her costume as well! It'll be great to see her further develop and become a more integral part of the DC world, with her one day possibly taking up the mantle of Wonder Woman as seen in Infinite Frontier!


3. Red X
One of the most mysterious characters from the comics who up to this point still hasn't been fully revealed, Red X was formally brought into the mainline DC continuity during Future State setting him up as a bigtime player in the Teen Titans arc which is now currently unfolding! He was one of the most anticipated parts of Infinite Frontier, and I hope soon to be one of the most anticipated figure reveals!


2. Stargirl
I was beyond overjoyed to get the Stargirl: Summer Break special that came out last year! I love both Stargirl and the JSA, and couldn't have been more excited by the end to see set up for both another JSA series as well as a new Stargirl series! At this point, the JSA series has been confirmed cancelled which is terrible, and there has been no further news on the Stargirl project which has me scared. With the new updated, fantastic look of Stargirl in the comic I'm hoping that we can get a new Stargirl in the Multiverse line especially with her own tv show airing. A bonus would be a Mega fig STRIPE!


1. Owlman
My brain nearly exploded when Mcfarlane revealed the Crime Syndicate build-a wave that assembles Starro! Two characters that I've been wanting in the line since the beginning, and I hope that this guarantees an Owlman in the DC Multiverse line soon! Aside from Ultraman, Owlman was surely my favorite member of the 2021 Infinite Frontier Crime Syndicate, and while the line does have a lot of Batman I would definitely give an easy pass for getting this multiversal version of Batman!

Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic Badniks vol 2

(Images Source) We have been getting more and more robotic Badniks in Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic figures which is very exciting! Primary characters are great, but getting more of the background designs to fill out the scenes is awesome and we've recently got some Badniks I was eagerly waiting for like the Burrobot, Newtron, and most recently the Caterkiller!! Eggman's army is packed to the brim though with all kinds of robotic enemies, and these are five more I hope to eventually see! 5. Jaws The Chopper is not the most posable of the Badniks that we've gotten so far (not that many are very posable to begin with), but it is such a classic design from the series and another underwater enemy would be the Jaws. With Jakks Pacific steadily working through giving us little playsets themed around different levels, a set themed around the underwater sequences would be the perfect way to get this guy into the line. 4. Top 5 most wanted Mattel Hammond Collection dinosaurs

The Hammond Collection looks to be the collector's dream for an articulated, highly accurate line of dinosaur figures! We're getting lot's of iconic and fan favorite creatures in the line's first year, with more great figures sure to be in the line's future! (Image Source) 5. Pteranodon The version of this dino that we got from the Amber collection was pretty spot on; however, we've got a new scale to work with and so I'm needing myself a new collector's line Pteradon to fit in with the rest of the Hammond Collection we've been building up to this point!
