Naruto is without a doubt one of the most iconic and recognizable anime characters of all time. Even those that aren't that familiar with the genre of anime can typically spot out Naruto from a crowd, and that just goes to show how popular he was as a character and how good his series was! Since Tamashii Nations revived their Naruto line they have been releasing banger after banger of figures, with Naruto always being some of their strongest releases ranging from the standard kid and teen versions, the immaculate Kurama Link mode figure, and most recently the great soft goods included to make the Sage Mode version of Naruto! It has been a few releases since our last Naruto and so I'm expecting another one soon, and these would be my top picks for the next Naruto Uzumaki releases in S.H.Figuarts.
Honorable mention: Dark Naruto
This is a very easy one I can see being released an some of kind of exclusive, that being the Dark Naruto variant Naruto himself faced off against. All that is needed for this releases would be new faceplates where the eyes are blacked out with the red pupils, and some overall more sinister facial expressions. That would have us golden for this version of Naruto.
5. Blank Period
Getting into the true new figures and molds that we could see in the line, I personally really liked the Naruto film that wrapped up the original Shippuden series. It was emotional, well animated, and revolved around finally giving us the resolution to Naruto and Hinata's relationship. Naruto's design in this was a great transitionary design between his teen years and his adult design in Boruto, and I wouldn't mind getting him and Hinata from this film at some point.
4. Baryon
Speaking of Boruto, I personally would like to continue focusing on the first two shows as opposed to getting anything from Boruto at the moment but one design that would absolutely slap would certainly be Naruto's Baryon mode. This is him at his fullest connection with Kurama from what I've heard, and the tails of Kurama becoming a glowing cloak for Naruto is a sick look and would be an instant buy.
3. Partial Nine-Tailed Chakra mode
Settling into the forms we see Naruto take on in his shows proper, this partial activation of his Nine Tailed chakra was the first steps we saw him take towards really harnessing that awesome power. It is is slightly similar in design to his Kurama Link form so the same kind of plastic could be seen with this release and the hue of yellows and reds would be beautiful.
2. 4th Tailed form
An absolute monster of a figure would be his untamed fourth tailed form. This thing was an absolute unit when it appeared in the series and in this form he nearly killed Pervy Sage himself, the Sanin's second time confronting death in his life! Then we got to see the power of this form in action against Orochimaru and man, the possibilities for energy accessory beams, articulation, paintwork, this has the makings to be one of the top tier figures across all of S.H.Figuarts ever.
1. Sage of the Six Paths
Out of all of Naruto's forms that we have gotten so far in the line I think that this is his most iconic not to have been touched upon yet. We've got his standard forms, we've got Sage Mode, Kurama Link, now we need the Sage of the Six Paths! The blacks and yellows, the weapons, all of these are details that Tamashii Nations can knock out of the freaking park with ease! They've been jumping around in the timeline so there isn't really any prediction of what will be coming next in the line, but if we go many more releases without getting Naruto in this form then I will be shocked.
