As of late Tamashii Nations has made a point of loading up the Naruto S.H.Figuarts line with Naruto's allies from the series. Following Pain they started this trend with Shikamaru, and have continued it with Tsunade, Hinata, and what seemed to be a tease for a new Jiraiya figure. The series is loaded with fun, meaningful, and stand out characters that accompany Naruto through his journey and with that being the focus of the line right now I'm looking at the allies Naruto has had throughout the whole franchise and which I want to get figures next!
Honorable mention: Tenten
Despite her limited screen time and impact during the series, for whatever reason Tenten ended up being one of my favorite characters from the original show (and I may have had a crush on her as a child as well which could've lent to it). I'm not sure how likely it would be to get her anytime soon given her reletive non-importance compared to other characters, but I would one day love an S.H.Figuarts of the series' weapon master whose accessories could potentially be plentiful!
5. Third Hokage
One of the best characters from the original series and the first major death amongst the heroes, the Third Hokage would be a splendid release for the first show in the line and pair greatly with the kid Naruto and Orochimaru that we have so far. His battle armor is an iconic look for the character wielding his staff, and a set of cloth good robes would make for the ultimate Third Hokage figure, though I can see them making those two different figures as well.
4. Hashirama and Tobirama
Two more heroes from the Village Hidden in the Leaves would be the first two Hokages of the village, powerful figures that we see brought back throughout the franchise and who are iconic designs, characters, and heroes of the Naruto world. Their similar designs means there could be a bit of re-use between the two of them, and add to the Hokage display that we've started with Minato and Tsunade (and Kakashi).
3. Rock Lee
Specifically the kid iteration of Lee from the first show is what I'm hoping for in the line currently. He was cool in Shippuden, but all of Rock Lee's most iconic and impressive moments were undoubtedly within the first show. From his battle with Gaara, to his battle later on against Kimimaru, Rock Lee endeared himself to fans in a big way. His expressive style would be perfect for the articulation of S.H.Figuarts and the face plates would undoubtedly be so much fun.
2. Neji Hyuga
The other member of Konoha's original Genin cast is Neji Hyuga, one of the coldest characters of the original series and one of the best hand to hand duelist of the whole cast. His cocky, confident demeanor automatically made him one of the coolest characters of the show on debut, especially with his display of power, and battles against both Hinata and Naruto. Whether it be his design based on the first show or Shippuden I hope to see Neji join the line soon, especially as his cousin Hinata is the latest release revealed.
1. Might Guy
Definitely one of my most wanted figures from the entire line at this time is Mighty Guy, pairing with Lee as one of the most expressive and dynamic characters of the franchise. His exuberance and flashy style would make the figure a delight to pose around whether it be his dynamic entry, his laps while doing hand stands, or possibly even including extra hands for the Kakashi figure in order to display them in their heated battle of rock, paper, scissors!
