Top 5 most wanted Hasbro Transformers Rescue Bots figures
I had aged out of the bracket for Rescue Bots when this show premiered, and with its target demographic I don't see myself ever exploring into the show itself myself; however, I can appreciate good Transformers designs and especially good action figures. Rescue Bots was a surprising addition to the Legacy line up when Chase was revealed, and Age of the Primes is continuing the Rescue Bots cast with the upcoming Voyager Heatwave! The characters of the show had a very varied array of service vehicle alt modes making them a diverse group, and ones I would not mind seeing more of in the mainline.
5. Salvage
The recent Trashmaster figure could be a good base to jump off of for a Salvage release; however, I really would like a brand new figure or highly retooled one in order to obtain the wheels on the legs that this robot mode sports. He is one of the largest bots in the series and potentially could be the first leader class Rescue Bots character in the mainline, which also may make him one of the least likely to see made right now as leader class slots are finite.4. High Tide
A deficit in the Transformers line are definitely aquatic based vehicles, and off the top of my head I cannot recall the last time we got a boat of some kind aside from Tidal Wave in the toyline. Seaspray is easily the most iconic boat Transformers, but even he hasn't seen an updated release in years. High Tide would be a great release to offer some support to a lacking branch of Transformers alt modes.3. Blades
Helicopter Transformers have become a bit more common in recent years in the toyline which has been really fun to see, and Blades also happens to be one of the primary characters of the Rescue Bots team. His white and orange color scheme is striking, and I love the windshield of his helicopter becoming nearly a hood in bot mode.2. Boulder
Construction alt-modes are typically reserved exclusively for the Constructicons; so when there are bots with these kinds of vehicle modes that aren't part of that group I find it a lot of fun like Armada's Scavenger and G1's Grapple. Boulder is yet another example of a Construction vehicle alt mode who isn't part of the villainous team, and takes his bulldozer design into a cool transformation as well! The scoop of his vehicle becoming forked feet, and the treads comprising his arms.1. Blurr
While Blurr's alt mode is not the most unique in the Transformers world, being a car, it is hard to deny a really cool looking alt mode that elevates a robot mode to even cooler hights. The purple, white, and green make a striking combination, and the spoiler of the car resting across his shoulder line is a great design choice. Not to mention the visor and racing helmet he sports, all perfectly complimenting the high speed nature of Blurr's character.
