Top 5 most wanted Disney+ What If...? Marvel Legends figures

Marvel's What If...? television show coming to Disney+ next month looks to be one of the most interesting and unique installments in the MCU yet! I'm so intrigued to see how some of these alternate timelines end up playing out, and what kind of branching storylines the writers have come up with! More MCU content also no doubt means more Marvel Legends 6 inch figures from Hasbro and if the figures retain the cool animated CG design of the web series then we will be in for a treat just like with the Spiderverse figures! So with Hasbro giving lots of love to the Disney+ side of the MCU so far, here are my top 5 most wanted What If...? figures based on what we've seen so far!

5. Hydra Stomper
The mech suit we've seen loads on times in the trailers would be really cool to have either as a build a figure or as a deluxe sized figure in the line. The idea of a scrawny Steve Rogers getting a WW2 era Iron Monger-like armored suit has looked awesome from when we first saw the reveal of the show and I hope the size doesn't deter it from happening. 


4. Captain America (zombie)
Marvel Zombies sadly haven't made the jump yet to figure form, but I hope that this show could be a step in that direction by giving us figures based on some of the zombies we've seen in the trailers! I don't know exactly what's happening in this timeline, but a zombie Captain America would be such a cool action figure, along with any other zombie designs they want to give us from the series.


3. The Watcher
Another good candidate for a build a figure, or a regular figure in the wave would be the Watcher who acts as the narrator for the series. The bulbous headed being has made a brief appearance in the MCU before in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, but now with a proper role and speaking lines this should be the perfect time for the Watcher to get a Marvel Legends figure.


2. Star Lord (T'Challa)
One of the most prominent alternate timelines seen in the trailers has been T'Challa as Star Lord instead of Peter Quill. This will be Chadwick Boseman's final performance in the MCU and will for sure be an emotional experience, and also one that looks to be a lot of fun! I love the purple design of his costume as well!


1. Captain Peggy Carter
This is the design that has been all over the What If...? show since it was originally announced and promoted, as well as the idea that sparked the show's existence entirely! Peggy Carter taking the super hero serum rather than Steve Rogers is looking to be a very fun and exciting ride, and one of the stand out storylines of the whole series! I can't wait to see how it plays out, and getting a figure based on Peggy Carter's superhero uniform is something I really hope happens!

Top 5 most wanted Star Wars the Black Series aliens from The Phantom Menace

The prequel love is very strong recently in Star Wars the Black Series, the line of 6 inch collection figures covering the Star Wars franchise. It felt like, as a prequel fan, that I was gasping for prequel figures in the collection not only a year ago but now we've had a flood of them, with another flood quickly coming! It's gotten me more excited for the line than I've been in a long time, and I've been thinking about some choice prequel characters I'd like to see! Aliens are getting a bit of a resurgence in the line as well, with prequel Jedi, Moloch, Rio, and a few others, so what better list to make than my most wanted aliens from the prequels? Top 5 most wanted Jakks Pacific Sonic Badniks vol 2

(Images Source) We have been getting more and more robotic Badniks in Jakks Pacific's line of Sonic figures which is very exciting! Primary characters are great, but getting more of the background designs to fill out the scenes is awesome and we've recently got some Badniks I was eagerly waiting for like the Burrobot, Newtron, and most recently the Caterkiller!! Eggman's army is packed to the brim though with all kinds of robotic enemies, and these are five more I hope to eventually see! 5. Jaws The Chopper is not the most posable of the Badniks that we've gotten so far (not that many are very posable to begin with), but it is such a classic design from the series and another underwater enemy would be the Jaws. With Jakks Pacific steadily working through giving us little playsets themed around different levels, a set themed around the underwater sequences would be the perfect way to get this guy into the line. 4.
