Top 5 most wanted Transformers Studio Series Autobots vol 2

Seeing the complex, complicated designs of the Bayverse Transformers movies brought to near 100% screen accuracy in Hasbro's Studio Series line has been a real delight for someone who actually enjoyed the live action films quite a bit! While the Decepticons have always had the cooler looking designs in my opinion, I've been a big fan of the Autobots as well and we've gotten a lot of my most wanted Autobots in the Studio Series line as of late such as Bumblebee in his jeep form, Sentinel Prime (my honorable mention), Dino (finally!), and while Hasbro hasn't officially announced him we've seen that Jolt is upcoming! So with the movie universe full of great heroic Autobot characters to be made, this is my top 5 countdown for which of those Autobots I'd like to see next in Studio Series!

Honorable mention: Daytrader
The fifth movie in the series has received next to nothing in terms of representation in the line, and while I wasn't a big fan of it, I think there are still some cool designs originating from this step in the franchise that would be cool as figures. Daytrader falls into that category of characters I would like to see made in th line, as his one scene was a lot of fun and his design one of the only original concepts made for the movie that didn't recycle old designs!

5. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee (Age of Extinction)

Age of Extinction is a movie that got a lot of figures right out the gate when the line first began; however, we don't see much from it any more. With the possible figure choices from the first three movies dwindling fast I imagine that we'll see more from the 4th film soon, with Optimus and Bumblebee two that I'm very interested in seeing revisited for modern updates. Optimus Prime's knight design is one of the most abstract in terms of going from vehicle to robot, but I'd really like to see an updated toy for his evasion mode! Bumblebee as well I'd like to see his high octane, covert mode redone to truly capture what we saw in the movie.

4. 1986 Perceptor, Blaster, and Dinobots

A lot of that main cast of the 1986 movie has been filled out already, meaning that the Hasbro will be starting to work on the secondary and tertiary members of the cast next. Perceptor is one of the primary characters who hasn't been remade yet, appearing throughout the entirety of the original film and his quizzical personality making him a favorite of many fans. Blaster's role in the movie was mostly constricted to the Battle of Autobot city; however, it was a truly memorable scene in which his minions went up against the minions of Soundwave! In addition, the two Dinobots we've gotten so far have been some of the best modern G1 figures to come out in the past few years, and Hasbro hopefully won't waste time giving us the full team.

3. Mudflap and Skids
Revenge of the Fallen has surprisingly gotten a ton of figures this year, with Grindor, Ravage, Jolt, ROTF Bumblebee, and ROTF Sideswipe all coming out this year. I hope that the rush of figures for the second movie doesn't stop and we end up getting the twins! I know they're controversial among lots of fans; however, they did have a lot of fun moments and I was a big fan of their asymmetrical designs. Personally, I would love an updated version of their Ice cream truck combined form, but at this point I'd settle for whichever version Hasbro wants to do first to give us updated Twins.

2. Bumblebee movie Cybertronian Autobots

Now this is a group of live action characters I doubt we will be waiting much longer for! While Hasbro doing Cliffjumper could be seen as a segway for them to do Bumblebee's Cybertronian form, the moment they created a figure for the Bumblebee movie's Starscream, and subsequently a Thrust retool, the door was sprung open for the whole Cybertronian cast to be made. Fans have been clamoring for figures of these characters ever since the first trailers for the movie came out, and I'll openly say I've been among those fans. Wheeljack and Brawn are the two I hope to get first, Brawn in particular being my favorite design from the group, and Ironhide, Ratchet, and Arcee all looked great as well!

1. Que
Settling back into the primary Bayverse for the final slot on my list, this character is one who has risen further and further up on fans' most wanted lists. Que was a character introduced in the third film of the saga, and whose figure in 2011 ended up pretty much cancelled making it one of the hardest to acquire! Soundwave was another character whose figure from that movie was hard to get, though Hasbro has now given him a Studio Series figure alongside Dino who had never had a proper figure before! Que is fast becoming the outlier in terms of who hasn't gotten an updated figure from the Dark of the Moon film, and I hope Hasbro gives us a wide release Que figure in the immediate future!
