Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse comic book characters vol 3

Mcfarlane has been diving hard into all corners of the comic world of DC Comics! Characters from all eras and many different elseworlds have all been touched upon, which is more than I could have asked for from a line called "DC Multiverse!" From my previous two lists talking about my most wanted comic book figures we've actually gotten quite a few, from the rest of the Dark Knights, to more Justice League members like Flash, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter, along with multiple Green Lanterns, several Wonder Womans, a heaping list of Batman rogues, and freaking Starro himself! There's still plenty of big name heroes and villains who have yet to get figures of their own at this point though, and this list will be going over my newest top 5 from the comic world!

Honorable mentions: standard Wonder Woman and Yara Flor

Two Amazonians will be making up the honorable mention slot on this list. We've gotten multiple Wonder Women from the line so far, but none in a standard look that fits in with a vanilla Justice League display. Wonder Woman has had a fairly consistent look over the years, with her New 52 or Rebirth era designs in particular being designs I'd love to see in the line. One of the newest members to the Wonder Woman mythos would be Yara Flor, the Wonder Woman of tomorrow who has been one of my favorite new characters since her debut in Future State! With Jace Fox's Batman and Jon Kent's Superman both in the line, I hope to get Yara Flor soon too to round out my Future State Trinity.

5. Hawkgirl and Hawkman

Two long time comic characters would be the Hawks, with Hawkgirl in particular getting a lot of love in the comics recently thanks to her role in the Justice League! Hawkman hasn't had as much of a spotlight, though his role in the Secret Six storyline gave him a rad redesign. I also loved his presence in the Justice Society comics pre-Flashpoint. Both would be fantastic additions to the line, especially with their wingspans and what Mcfarlane has shown he can do with winged characters like the Batman who Laughs w/Sky Tyrant wings.

4. Supergirl and Powergirl

Coming together for the fourth slot are two characters who are kind of the same person. Supergirl is one of the most classic Superman mythos characters and one easily recognizable to comic fans. She is even getting her big live action film debut later this year in The Flash! Superman's supporting cast thus far hasn't been as fleshed out as Batman's or even Flash's, but Supergirl would be a great step forward. Power Girl as well would be an awesome add to the line! Her portrayals as part of the Justice Society have been her biggest appearances to me, and the Justice Society is a team I would give an internal organ to get started in the line!

3. Batwoman
Out of all the Bat characters we've been getting, Batwoman is one I've been waiting on for a while. She's a character that I really enjoyed reading in the comics! I adored her New 52 run (though the final storyline was a bit of a let down) with gorgeous art, and her Rebirth era comic stint was entertaining as well. She's been a great character and her stark pale skin is a great contrast to the black of her suit and the red color of her suit's wig!

2. Stargirl
Speaking of the Justice Society again, Stargirl is one of my favorite comic book characters and it was fantastic to see her get the spotlight when Infinite Frontier opened up with a one shot special focusing on her! While we've yet to hear word about the teased new Stargirl comic series, she's a character I definitely want to see in the toyline, especially with her own live action tv show being one of the best superhero media pieces in years!

1. Jay Garrick and Impulse

Bringing together two characters for the final slot, I truly couldn't choose between them. The Flash family composes some of my favorite characters across DC comics and it has been great to put together so many versions of Barry and Eobard already in the line, with Godspeed and Wally coming up in the future! Jay Garrick is another Justice Society character I would fully welcome into the line, with his helmet being one of DC comic's most recognizable images, and his updated design with the collar and jacket being the character's best look in my opinion. Impulse's biggest exposure for me has been the Rebirth era Flash series, and the 2019 Young Justice comic, and in both of those I found the character of Bart Allen to be extremely fun and entertaining. Both of these characters have some of my favorite designs for speedsters, and would be awesome to get for the comic shelf!
