Top 5 most wanted Transformers Movie Masterpiece figures vol 2

Hasbro's Transformers Movie Masterpiece line has continued to put out some near perfect versions of the live action film characters, and at this point have nearly rounded out completely the cast of the 2007 film! Bonecrusher is upcoming at the end of this year which I couldn't be more excited for, and in previous years we got both Ratchet and Blackout, checking them off my list as well! For my updated list of Movie Masterpiece figures I want made I will also be taking the Constructicons off as overall it is an unrealistic hope for the Masterpiece line which releases so few figures a year. These are my top 5 most wanted Transformers Movie Masterpiece figures vol 2!

5. Clunker Bumblebee

While every character from the 2007 film is nearly accounted for, there is one alternate design for one that hasn't yet been jumped upon. Bee's original design before upgrading himself into the modern Camaro is one the line could easily implement by reshelling the previous Masterpiece figure Bee received, though a brand new figure would be cool as well. I've always been partial to the Clunker look for Bee in the 2007 film, and more Bumblebee would never be unexpected. 

4. Soundwave

With the 2007 cast nearly finished in the toyline, I'm really interested in seeing how the Movie Masterpiece line will make its focus going forward as that film (Aside from celebrating the release of the Bumblebee movie) has been what the Masterpiece line has focused on for a while. Soundwave is a big ticket character and one whose design in Dark of the Moon I actually really liked so the idea of getting that design fully realized in a Masterpiece format is really exciting. 

3. Sentinel Prime

Another huge character from the films would be Sentinel Prime, one of the all time most iconic live action Transformers characters and one that would undoubtedly be an instant hit with collectors! His Studio Series release was good; however, a Masterpiece design could really flesh out the articulation, detailing, and give him all of his needed accessories like the sword, shield, and rust gun!

2. Sideswipe

Easily the coolest Autobot introduced since the 2007 film in the original Bayverse, Sideswipe also ended up being the only Autobot introduced in the second film to still be present in Dark of the Moon which I feel speaks further to his popularity amongst fans. This roller blading, sword wielding bot had one of the most memorable sequences from the films when he bisected Sideways, and as one of my personal favorite Bots from the films I would be all for Masterpiece hitting up this fan favorite character. 

1. Brawl

In terms of pure character selection, Brawl is the final bot needed to complete the line up of 2007 Decepticons, and the cast in general. He always is our last chance to have Frenzy included with someone in order to enter him in the line as well. The war machine that is Brawl is one that I cannot wait to see brought to the Masterpiece line in all of his massive, weapon decked out glory! I loved his original leader class figure as a kid, his Studio Series rendition is still one of my favorite figures in the line, and given the Masterpiece glow up I cannot wait to see what Hasbro and Takara Tomy could do!
