Top 5 most wanted Star Wars Black Series troop builder figures vol 3

Troopers and other army builder type characters have always been a major part of Star Wars from the beginning with the different Storm trooper classifications, with Droids and Clones coming next, and all other sorts of subgroups that action figure collectors could buy multiple of for their display! The Black Series line has pumped out a few more of the army builders I was hoping for most in the line, from the Endor Rebel to the Incinerator Trooper, as well as finally getting confirmation that the line will be introduced Super Battle Droids and Droidekas waaaay later than they should've. From more clones to droids to Storm troopers, here is my third iteration of what army builders I want checked off in the Black Series next!

Honorable mention: Airborne trooper

This should be one of the easiest figures on the list to make, and pretty much every piece needed to make the figure has been produced in the toyline already. It is a pretty standard clone body and armor set; however, that headsculpt is plain awesome. The Purge trooper figures introduced this headsculpt into the line already, but having it cast in orange and white from Revenge of the Sith has always been my favorite look for it.

5. Bespin Guards

There's a lot from the Bespin Cloud City portion of Empire Strikes Back that we're missing from Cloud Car pilots to Lobot, but an army builder very present in this section of the film would be the Bespin guards. They have a very regal look to them, very different from the usual soldiers and droids of the Star Wars universe, and their blues, reds, and yellows compliment each other to make for a pleasingly colorful attire.

4. Kashyyyk Trooper

Another clone trooper that I'd love to add to the display would be the scout troopers from Kashyyyk in Revenge of the Sith, green camo decoed troopers that could easily use most of the sculpting from the currently existing scout trooper mold. We've had Commander Gree since forever ago, and having these troopers to go alongside him would look very nice.

3. Clone Wars Commando Droids

It seems lately that we've been getting more and more figures outside of the film universe, especially when it comes to the Clone Wars and I hope that that means we may be due for a Commando Droid at some point in the near future. The introduction of this unit into the war was a very cool development, as no more did the droid army rely solely on waves upon waves of soldiers but instead could deploy battalions of these very skilled and dangerous droids into complex situations. We're finally building out more of the droid army with the Super Battle Droid and Droideka, and I hope we continue putting together the Separatist army with the Commandos.

2. Beskar Stormtroopers

I have little doubt that before long these troopers will be pipeline revealed and then ultimately introduced into the line. Mandalorian has been a money pot for the line since the show began, and there's soooo many designs introduced by the end of season 3 that make too much sense to be left out of the toyline for long. These Beskar armored storm troopers of Gideon's were one of my favorite additions to the Imperial army, also adding another very cool helmet design into the mix.

1. Galactic Marine

Flanking Bacara on either side are the Galactic Marines, one of my all time favorite designs from Clone troopers and one I've been waiting since the line began to get into figure form! The deep purples mixed with the dirty whites and grays are such a eye pleasing combination, not to mention the sheer coolness of their hoods and armor configuration. Childhood me also has fond memories of them being one of the special Clone ranks you could use in Star Wars Battlefront 2 where they were equipped with heavy miniguns!
