Top 5 most wanted Transformers Studio Series Fall of Cybertron figures

Hasbro have gone out of their way to state that they are only doing figures from War For Cybertron currently as opposed to covering both games in in the War/Fall videogames from High Moon Studios. They even went so far as to state that the Cliffjumper figure is based on the War For Cybertron Nintendo DS source as opposed to clearly being the Fall of Cybertron headsculpt. Hasbro has stated though that they hope to hit Fall of Cybertron eventually though, with a lot of characters from the game ones they want to make. Fall of Cybertron is many fans' favorite out of the game series for the cool characters introduced in the second installment, and a lot of those characters are what will make up my list of top 5 most wanted Studio Series Fall of Cybertron figures!

5. Dinobots

The Dinobots were a huge addition to the game's roster and some of the funnest levels to play as you shredded through enemies as Grimlock! The only reason this group is falling lower on the list is because we just spent years putting together the G1 Dinobots, (not to mention a Core class team as well), so I'm not sure if it's too early for Studio Series to jump straight back into another set of G1 inspired Dinobots, especially when they've acknowledged they still have to work through the Age of Extinction renditions too.

4. Insecticons

Licensing rights are what I assumed had me really confused as a kid, as Hardshell and Sharpspot were definitely not the names I associated with the Insecticons when I saw them in the game for the first time. Even more baffling to me was Kickback having Shrapnel's usual speech impediment? Nevertheless, I was excited to see the creepy crawly Decepticon subfaction back in the limelight and great fun to go up against as the Dinobots!

3. Shockwave

I love practically any rendition of the Decepticon's cruel scientist, and the Fall of Cybertron version holds true to that statement. I love the overall aesthetic of the Cybertron planet in this universe, and seeing the vibrant, glowing designs bestowed to Shockwave was a delight. He was a bit smaller than how I typically perceived Shockwave, especially coming off the back of Dark of the Moon, but if he fits into the Deluxe price point that just means there are more potential slots for him to fit into in the year for release!

2. Jazz

Technically, this character made a cameo in War for Cybertron and could therefore be already in the pipeline to be made. Jazz's role was mightily upgraded from cameo to star character in the sequel, and his missions with Cliffjumper investigating mysterious going ons in the Sea of Rust remains one of the most iconic levels in the series for me. Jazz was as smooth as ever, with the aesthetic of these games fitting him perfectly!

1. Combaticons

The Studio Series Constructicons seemed to convince Hasbro that full fledged dedicated Combiner teams are viable in the toyline again, as we soon after got Menasor, and I would love my mind if they go after the Fall of Cybertron Combaticons! Apart from the Dinobots, the Combaticons are THE biggest thing in these games for most people. Their combination sequence, plowing through levels as Bruticus, the game really came alive for many fans whenever these characters hit the screen, and I would be all for the Studio Series' next big project to be bringing these characters newly updated to collectors' shelves!
