Top 5 most likely Transformers Studio Series figures for 2024

2023 was a big year for Transformers, with a new live action film hitting theaters and with it Hasbro's Studio Series line chugged out a slew of figures to represent the new cast! We also had the awesome introduction of the War for Cybetron game to the line, as well as a sprinkling of G1 which included the line's first very Commander Class! With the 2023 hype of Rise of the Beasts going down I'm expecting Studio Series' line up to get very diverse once again, hopefully with the return of more Bayverse figures, and wrapping up missing characters from Rise of the Beasts and the Bumblebee movie. With so many sources for Studio Series to pull from at this point, here are my predictions for the most likely figures going into 2024 to be made!

5. Que

I feel as though it has become a running gag that I keep projecting Que to be one of the most likely characters to be made in the line; however, here we are years later with no Que in sight! Studio Series has dwindled down their choices from the original Bayverse trilogy, essentially completed the Bumblebee movie and Rise of the Beasts cast, so I still stand firm that Que remains a likely candidate for the line that has to come to fruition at some point :(

4. Swoop

It is essentially a no-brainer that next year will see the release of the final leader class Dinobot. The hype is real to complete the set of what is possibly the best G1 Dinobots ever to be released outside of unlicensed third party companies. There's a lot of talk whether or not Swoop's smaller size will mean that he will come with the swords of his fellow Dinobots to help fill out the package, but I'd be more than happy just to have all five Dinobots looking epic on the shelf!

3. Skywarp (Bumblebee)

This year we did not see as many figures from the Bumblebee movie as we did last year; however, the pick of characters from that film is becoming increasingly slim with how well they filled it out in 2022. One would be an easy repaint/retool and can be found at the very far right of the above picture. Starscream, Thundercracker, and Thrust have all been checked off as Seekers from the line, but no Seeker display is ever complete without a Skywarp to go along with them and with Rise of the Beasts behind us I think Studio Series will definitely work their way back to the Seeker goldmine.

2. Starscream (War for Cybertron)

On the topic of Seekers, the War for Cybertron games have their own set of these iconic Decepticons and I dont doubt that the line will waste no time getting into them. Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp had one of my favorite designs from the game series, and whenever there is a chance to repaint the heck out of a mold Hasbro has never turned away from that chance. I've mentioned before that these games are one of the few instances that each of the trio were given very distinct personalities from one another, making me doubly excited for their eventual Studio Series reveal.

1. Wheeljack (Rise of the Beasts)

We very nearly succeeded in getting the entire main cast of the Rise of the Beasts film checked off in the line in one year. We got all three of the Terrorcons, all four of the Maximals, and four out of five of the main Autobots with Wheeljack missing from that line up! He was easily my favorite design from the Autobot line up, with his nerdy look being such a cool design choice especially when factoring in creative decisions such as making the seatbelts of the car turn into suspenders, and of course the glasses! His mainline figure is pretty well done, so I'm very excited to see what a Studio Series interpretation can pull off!
