Top 5 most wanted McFarlane DC Multiverse classic DC movie figures vol 2

Image
(Banner Images Source)   (Following Images Source) Live action material has become more and more of a standard release in the DC Multiverse line of figures from Mcfarlane, and especially from a lot of the classic pre-DCEU films we've been seeing a lot of figure representation. Nolan's Batman and a lot of the Nolan-verse has seen modern day releases, not to mention a lot of the classic Batman films including Keaton's Batman and Arnold's Mr. Freeze, with the most recent classic film release being the upcoming Reeve's Superman! As a big fan of DC's live action offerings I can't wait to see what is coming out in the 2025 year, with these five being my next most wanted releases from classic DC films! 5. Batman (Batman Begins) The Nolan universe has ended up getting a healthy dosage of figures from Mcfarlane since its initial wave of figures that stands as one of the best BAF waves in the line so far in my opinion. At this point the biggest missing piece from the ...

Top 5 most wanted Mcfarlane DC Retro Batman 66 figures vol 4

Image
(Banner Images source)   (Following Images source) After a brief jump into the New Adventures of Batman retro television show Mcfarlane has returned to Batman 66' and continues to truly fill out the universe line no other from its DC Multiverse umbrella of figure lines. Clock King, Bookworm, and Batgirl from my previous list have been immortalized in the line, and the breadth of possible figure choices has been immensely widened by the heavy inclusion of Batman 66' comic original figures/designs as well! 5. False Face While he was not known as Basil Karlo at this point, False-Face was a sneaky villain in the series able to take on the appearance of others. His mask certainly made for a creepy visage, and could make for a very well done headsculpt in the line.  4. Mad Hatter Bookworm and Clock King were two great additions to the line's secondary cast of villains, and the next biggest one we're missing at this point would have to be the Mad Hatter. Alternate accessories ...

Top 5 most wanted DC Multiverse figures based on Rebirth's 'Green Lanterns'

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) I only recently got around to reading the Rebirth era "Green Lanterns" comic and it seemed to be good timing with the reveal and release of Simon Baz in the DC Multiverse line from Mcfarlane! I had a great time reading the comic and loved the development and dynamic of both Simon and Jessica throughout, allowing these two recent characters time to truly shine and become their own leading figures in comics. While some of the later storylines involving alien terrorism didn't grab my attention as much, the major storylines of the comic ranging from the Phantom Lantern to Cyborg Superman's invasion, not to mention the bombdiggity Volthoom overarching plot all kept me more than entertained. Simon's figure looks great, and so does his obscure chase variant Solomon Baz as the briefly encountered Earth-3 variant from the series! Mcfarlane has never strayed from Lanterns in the line, and here are five choices from a great G...

Top 5 wanted Mcfarlane DC Multiverse Absolute Power figures

Image
(Image Source) Many of DC's events of recent years have been a bit hit or miss, with storylines such as Batman vs Robin and Lazarus Planet not quite scratching the itch for a great big DC storyline; however, Beast World seemed to be things on a right track and the recent Absolute Power and its associated supplemental material were a great read. It brought together a lot of recent villains from the DC universe, showcased our heroes across the globe at their most vulnerable, and overall provided for a storyline I had a great time reading throughout. While Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse line hasn't been focusing as much on modern comics as they were at the start of the line I still hope to see some representation from this storyline sometime next year, with these being my top 5 picks for what I want to see! 5. Amanda Waller (Image Source) While it would not be the most exciting figure in the line it would certainly be a big character in the DC mythos that would easily be slottable ...

Top 5 favorite Transformers reveals from 2024 Cybertron-Con

Image
I was not completely aware of Cybertron-Con occuring this month but once the toy reveals started pouring in I was hooked and fully invested in the event. Yolopark's display was impressive but didn't show off anything really new, so Hasbro overall stole the show with the full reveal of their first wave of Age of the Primes figures for next year!  (Images Source) 5. Star Convoy My knowledge of Star Convoy is extremely limited, but I do recognize a fantastic looking toy when I see one and this Titan Class Optimus Prime fits that declaration. Smaller than traditional Titans and with a lower price point to match, this is yet another obscure piece of Transformers history making a big comeback in modern day toylines which I love to see. I can't say for sure that I'll be personally making the purchase, but reveals like this is why I also love to "window shop." 4. Superion It seems to be that 2025 is the year that Hasbro rally fully dives back into the Combiner game. M...

Top 5 wanted Super7 Godzilla Toho Ultimates! figures from the Reiwa era

Image
(Images Source) While Godzilla's Ultimates! line of figures from Super7 is still planted in Heisei, Super7 have been vocal about their plans for the future regarding branching into Millenium at some point, Showa in the future, but unless I've missed it I haven't heard much discussion about the Reiwa era. Minus One's Godzilla has been one of the most successful releases in the line so far to no surprise with how popular the film itself was, and as the first big official non-Heisei release in the line I hope to see more from this diverse era of Godzilla that's provided us with some very experimental designs and concepts! Honorable mention: atomic breath Minus One This is one that Super7 seems to have indicated will be on the way at some point with the reveal of their Charging Minus One variant and discussions about it being separate from a true Atomic blast version. While the standard Atomic blast Minus One Godzilla is something that will be more than welcome, I'd...

Top 5 most wanted Tamashii Nations Naruto (original show) S.H.Figuarts

Image
(Banner Image Source)   (Following Images Source) I've made a few posts talking about what S.H.Figuarts Naruto figures I want in the Tamashii Nations revived line, with focuses on specific groups or the series as a whole, but this time I will be focusing in on the first series in the franchise which houses some of my personal favorite storylines and character designs. The kid Naruto and kid Sasuke figures that we got pretty early on in the line were fantastic and two of my favorites, with me eager to get more designs from this era of Naruto. Shippuden has continued to be a pretty big focus with characters like Shikamaru, Pain, and the recent Hinata reveal, with characters like Tsunade and Itachi able to interswap between the two series. For this list I will be focusing on designs exclusive to the first Naruto show that do not show up (in a meaningful capacity at least) in the later series. Honorable mention: Sakura Starting off with one that I think a lot of fans were expect...

Top 5 wanted Super7 Toho Ultimates! Godzillas

Image
(Images Source) The big G himself is the focus on this post as I talk about the Godzillas across the franchise that I'd love to see put out by Super7 in the Ultimates! line of figures. We've seen them greatly improve their product in the span of just a few releases, with a lot stemming from the Heisei era, but most recently we branched out for the recent Minus One design which is one of my favorite figures in the line thus far. With plenty of Godzilla designs across the franchise to be pulled from, this here is my top 5 most wanted Godzilla Ultimates! figures from Super7! Honorable Mention: Return of Godzilla The Heisei era is where Ultimates has firmly stuck so far and we've gotten a handful of Godzillas from this era of film already between the Vs Biollante design, Burning Godzilla, and the 1200 degree meltdown Godzilla. Most designs from this era seem to be variations on the Biollante Godzilla design; however, the first film in the Heisei era, Return of Godzilla, does ...
