Top 5 most wanted DC Multiverse figures based on Rebirth's 'Green Lanterns'

I only recently got around to reading the Rebirth era "Green Lanterns" comic and it seemed to be good timing with the reveal and release of Simon Baz in the DC Multiverse line from Mcfarlane! I had a great time reading the comic and loved the development and dynamic of both Simon and Jessica throughout, allowing these two recent characters time to truly shine and become their own leading figures in comics. While some of the later storylines involving alien terrorism didn't grab my attention as much, the major storylines of the comic ranging from the Phantom Lantern to Cyborg Superman's invasion, not to mention the bombdiggity Volthoom overarching plot all kept me more than entertained. Simon's figure looks great, and so does his obscure chase variant Solomon Baz as the briefly encountered Earth-3 variant from the series! Mcfarlane has never strayed from Lanterns in the line, and here are five choices from a great Green Lantern comic I want to see down the line.

5. Doctor Polarity

While a brief storyline in the overall series it was a great one that really brought some personal depth to Doctor Polaris and made him an empathetic force that the heroes were facing. I love the purple and silvers of his design as well, and I am always eager to have more villains added to the line.

4. Cyborg Superman

A big returning villain for DC was Cyborg Superman who headlined the final storyline of the Green Lanterns Rebirth comic. First acting as a manipulative force from within Simon's ring, Henshaw managed to arrange his own rise to power that saw him become a grave enough threat to end the series with. The New 52 Cyborg Superman we got is a fantastic figure, but his other comic designs are high on my want list as well!

3. Phantom Lantern

A character specific to this comic run would be the Phantom Lantern, an original character who wished nothing more to be a Green Lantern; however, it was not for the most altruistic reasons. With a drive to be a hero, but the pride to make it all about himself, this character was a very compelling read with a very cool uniform design once he finally obtained the power of the Lantern through the Phantom Ring. He cycled through several colors giving lots of options for this character to be made with, though the classic green would be a safe choice.

2. Volthoom

A prominent villain throughout the entirety of the series, Volthoom survived his universe wreaking stint from his grand New 52 storyline and returned as a manipulative force for a lot of the Green Lanterns Rebirth comic. His mosaic, robed form would be a killer figure, but I also love his younger armored look from the flashbacks as well as the epic storyline where Simon and Jessica helped the original group of Lanterns fend him off in the past. As such a major character in the Lantern lore I can only hope to see Volthoom one day make his way into figure form.

1. Jessica Cruz

We have Simon in the line (and even his Earth-3 counterpart) so the other half of the title's featured characters is due for her big DC Multiverse release as well. With the reveal of Guy Gardener and the promise of Jade coming next year we now have all major Green Lanterns and Green Lantern adjacent humans in the line aside from Jessica and Jo, and Jessica has been around a while longer and for some integral pieces of recent DC lore including the Darkseid War! I absolutely love her story and her journey to overcoming fear, as well as the design of her uniform. She's been a character I've been anticipating for a while now, and even more so now that her partner Simon has been brought into the releases!
