Most wanted Transformers Studio Series Decepticons

I made a list a little while ago about the Autobots in the live action films that I wanted to see get figures in Hasbro's Studio Series line, and I think it is about time I made the Decepticon version of that list! Decepticons are definitely my preferred team when it comes to figures and general cool factor, and while the Decepticons have in more recent years gotten shafted in movie roles and representation in toylines (AOE and TLK being the ones to do Decepticons dirty), the Bumblebee film has done well in making Decepticons legitimate threats again like in the 2007 film, ROTF, and DOTM. Toy wise, Studio Series has been a gift to Decepticon fans, as the brunt of the line is Decepticons high and low with obscure bots like Scrapmetal and the Shadow Raiders getting figures while Autobots are the ones left in the dust now. Despite this, the sheer number of Decepticons in the film leaves several more still undone for the line, and here I'll be talking about some of my most wanted Decepticons for the line.

Blitzwing
Dropkick, Shatter, and Blitzwing were three very cool Decepticon additions when the Bumblebee movie came out last year. The first two have received figures already, two in the case of Dropkick, but Blitzwing is still absent from the line. Being from one of the coolest scenes in the movie, and one of the best fights in the whole franchise in my opinion, he very much deserves a figure in the line; and soon.

TF3 Soundwave
Soundwave is such a major role in the Transformers lore that I find it surprising that he has been omitted thus far. His DOTM toy wasn't very easy to find, and I think Studio Series could improve on that initial figure greatly. Out of his two movie looks, I would prefer the DOTM version of him when he transformed into a car, but I wouldn't say no to his satellite form either.

Sideways
This is a relatively, very small character in the films. Sideways was a part of the awesome opening sequence of ROTF where he and Demolisher tried to escape the Autobot forces. He was a cool part of that sequence, especially when he jumped through a building, and whether he is a new sculpt or a repaint of Barricade I'm waiting for this Decepticon to be added to the line!

Devcon
If you've read some of my older Studio Series wishlist posts, you know all about how much I want this figure. Devcon was a minor character in the series, if he can even be called a character, but his design was amongst the coolest in my opinion and it is a design that I really want to see in action figure form. My fingers are crossed that Studio Series will go on long enough that they pull out some very obscure characters like this guy.

Junkheap
I didn't know that I wanted a set of KSI Decepticons until we started getting them. The Sentry and Boss both are cool in their own rights, but I really want the Junkheap drones. I love combiners, and the aesthetic of them becoming a huge garbage truck together just fits right with me. I would love to see this trio in the toyline eventually.

Hatchet
We got an awesome Crowbar in the first wave of figures, a character I didn't expect to get so early on in a line like this, and then we got Crankcase. I'm really hoping they don't screw up Hatchet like they did Crankcase, who was a repaint of Crowbar making him look nothing like the onscreen Crankcase. My only hope is that because Hatchet is a completely different body type than the two of them, that will deter Hasbro from just repainting one of them into Hatchet, because that would really be a shame for such a bulky, ferocious Decepticon.

2007 Megatron
We have nearly completed the entire 2007 cast at this point! A modern Camaro Bumblebee is all but certain with Bumblebee receiving endless amounts of figures, but the 2007 version of Megatron is the one that I want most to finish out the Decepticon line up from the film. I really liked the design he took in the movie, and if the Studio Series version looks half as good as the Masterpiece version coming out this year then I'll be happy to get it.
